He has a strong build, is a versatile route runner and can create seperation downfield while very twitchy and elusive with the ball in his hands after the catch. Smith also shows strong hands in traffic with high-point abilities and is a mismatch nightmare in man coverage. Through week 5 of the season, he has put up 400+ yards receiving with 5 touchdowns and should hit the 1,000 yard marker by the seasons end. He is explosive, has real deep speed and a big catch radius downfield with high-point abilities and can make plays after the catch. He is a kid that should see offers start to roll in this winter to start the off-season, and is a next level guy. He picked up right where he left off in week 4 and on Friday night threw for an absurd 400+ yards and 4 scores while doing a nice job with his legs as well through out the contest. He is a elite athlete on both sides of the ball and has big play abilities in the open field with some of the top speed in the state and can affect the game in all three phases. He is one of the top two-way guys across the central valley and will be drawing plenty of P4 offers this off-season heading into his Junior year. Taylor currently holds offers from Cal and Fresno State and should be a national name by the time it's all said and done.
