Prep Redzone gives you the top five performers from the Bullis (MD) vs. St. Christopher's (VA) game that took place this past Friday. I've even added a few honorable mention selections for this one.

White was the engine for the Saints' offense. Early in the game, he broke through multiple tackles to extend drives, which set the tone for St. Christopher's physical approach. His late 46-yard run was the biggest play from scrimmage, flipping field position and all but sealing the win. Even when Bullis stacked the box, White's patience and ability to cut back made him dangerous. He was the best player on the field start to finish. White carried the football 18 times for 172 yards. He's a big back who's hard to tackle.

Gray dominated the line of scrimmage. He batted passes at the line on multiple occasions, stuffed Bullis' run game, and generated constant pressure. His sack in the fourth quarter showcased both strength and quickness off the edge. Gray also opened up holes offensively on key runs, pulling as a blocker. Few players influence both the passing and rushing game like he did. Gray finished the game with five tackles, one sack, and three pass breakups. He certainly showed why he is the No. 1 player in Virginia and one of the tops in the nation. Gray doing what he was able to do from the edge is unfair. Nobody is blocking him without a LOT of help.

Roberts wasn't perfect — two early interceptions nearly cost the Saints — but he rebounded. For what it's worth, one of the interception was a pass that his receiver tipped. His 32-yard touchdown pass to J.J. Tidwell gave St. Christopher's the first lead, and his 8-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter was the dagger. Roberts' running ability added balance to the offense, especially on RPOs and quarterback keepers. He showed composure in key moments, which separated him from Bullis' quarterback play. Roberts completed 8-of-18 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown and added 65 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. That, my friends, is a true dual-threat.

Walter's interception in the third quarter was arguably the turning point. Bullis had just recovered a fumble deep in Saints territory and looked poised to tie the game. Instead, Walter undercut a slant route and returned it to midfield. That stop preserved the shutout and swung momentum firmly in St. Christopher's favor. He also tackled well in space, cleaning up runs before they could break loose.

Note: His last name has been changed to Youty.

Youty gave Bullis its only consistent offensive push. His hard runs between the tackles in the second half helped move the chains when nothing else worked. He showed good burst through the hole and balance at contact. Although he couldn't break the Saints' wall near the red zone, Youth's effort stood out for a struggling Bullis offense. For whatever reason, he did not play in the first half. It's not that the two other running backs in his place didn't do a good job, but Youty might've made the Bullis offense get off to a better start had he played the whole game.

Tidwell provided the big-play spark on offense. His 32-yard touchdown reception broke the 0-0 deadlock and gave St. Christopher's a lead it would never lose. Beyond the score, Tidwell's route-running created separation downfield, and he was Roberts' most reliable target in key passing situations. He caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Bullis linebacker Sam Waldman (2026) tipped a pass that led to a [player_tooltip player_id='1314062' first='Chris' last='Tangelo'] interception while the game was still in doubt. He also recovered a fumble that gave his team its best scoring change. Unfortunately, Bullis was not able to covert the opportunity into points.

I thought St. Christopher's defensive back Elisha Asare (2026) provided tremendous coverage downfield for his team in 1v1 situations. Bullis tried to test him a few times but Asare did not allow any completions on any of those throws.

St. Christopher's offensive line deserves a ton of credit for the success of the running game. It seemed like running back [player_tooltip player_id='1314065' first='Aiden' last='White'] and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1318841' first='Chase' last='Roberts'] found running room on both sides of the football.
