With an electric Week 5 in the books, there is no shortage of athletes who balled out across the state. 6A was no exception; in the state's biggest class, there was a plethora of fantastic performances with athletes spanning 3 graduating classes that deserve to be shouted out. Meet some of Week 5's top performers!

QB: Quinn Curry, 6'1" 185 lbs, Eastview 2026

Quinn Curry has been balling the past two weeks and is a large part of the Lightning being 2-0 after a rocky start to the season. For the second straight week, Curry has posted a 130+ passer rating, and he hasn't thrown a pick since Week 2. He finished his Week 5 game going 8/15 (53.3%), for 168 yards through the air and 2 TDs. He averaged an impressive 11.2 yards per attempt and brought in an additional 16 yards with his legs. Curry would make a fine addition to plenty of MIAC squads.

ATH: Taylor Seaton, 6'3" 215 lbs, Eastview 2026

Seaton is listed as a TE, but his role on the offense expands far past that position. Seaton played an instrumental role in Eastview's win over Coon Rapids. He carried the rock 12 times, a season high, for an insane 135 yards, also a season high, while averaging a wild 11.2 ypc. He also caught the longest pass of the day, a 50-yard pass for a TD. On his tape, the kid is a bulldozer with surprising speed for an athlete of his stature. Big fan of Seaton's potential.

LB: [player_tooltip player_id='1919271' first='Logan' last='Myers'], 6'2" 215 lbs, Eastview 2026

Myers has had back-to-back weeks of incredible success, and the built linebackers' performance against Coon Rapids is what lands him in this article today. He recorded 9 total tackles for the second straight week, tying his season high. He also brought down 2 TFLs, a sack, 2 FFs, and a fumble recovery, cementing this game as his best all season. There's a lot to love from this under-the-radar senior prospect.

RB/LB: Chris Rehak, 5'10" 205 lbs, Farmington 2026

Rehak was a stud last year for the Tigers, and this season has been no different. Starting on both sides of the ball, Rehak has made his impact felt all over the field. In Week 5, Rehak rushed 5 times for 51 yards, bringing with him a great 10.2 ypc. He also caught a ball for 6 yards. On defense, he had perhaps one of the best single-game defensive performances in the state. Rehak recorded 18 total tackles, which brings his streak of games with 10+ total tackles up to 4. Rehak is playing like one of the most impactful players in his class.

RB: [player_tooltip player_id='1634068' first='Zion' last='Davis'], 5'9" 185 lbs, Lakeville North 2028

Everyone is saying that this 2028 class of Minnesota athletes is special, and they're right. Davis is a bellcow already during his sophomore year, and had his third game this season with 15+ carries. He ended his night with 19 carries and 100 yards, his highest total this season. He also averaged a season high 5.3 ypc and caught a ball for 8 yards. He's a 2028 to watch going forward.

DB: [player_tooltip player_id='1610248' first='Gavin' last='Casey'], 5'10" 185 lbs, Lakeville North 2027

Heading into his second year starting for Lakeville North, expectations were high for junior [player_tooltip player_id='1610248' first='Gavin' last='Casey'], and although the team came up short against Prior Lake last Friday, Casey balled out. He brought down 10 total tackles (a season high by a wide margin) and recorded his first interception of the season. Casey is a talented upperclassman with NSIC upside; he should be a name to watch throughout the season.

QB: Wes Kranz, 6'0" 170 lbs, Osseo 2026

Wes Kranz has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the 2025 season. In a tough loss to Shakopee, Kranz went an impressive 12/18 (66.7%), for 110 yards through the air and 2 TDs. He also had a season-high passer rating of 120.1 and found some success on the ground with a rushing TD. He throws a good ball on film and has fantastic ball placement on short fade routes.

RB/DB: Philip Sieh, 5'10" 190 lbs, Osseo 2026

An All-District DB a season ago, Sieh has been producing on both sides of the rock for Osseo in 2025. Against Shakopee last week, Sieh had 11 touches for 66 yards (6.0 ypc average), but his true impact was arguably on the defensive side of the ball. He recorded a season high of 8 total tackles and tallied his first forced fumble of the year. On his tape, he's a patient ball carrier with a great sense of balance, and plays downhill well on defense. Sieh deserves more collegiate attention for his efforts so far.

MLB: [player_tooltip player_id='1669604' first='Blake' last='Loughlin'], 6'2" 200 lbs, Shakopee 2027

I don't know how Shakopee continues to produce absolute unit after absolute unit at linebacker, but somehow, they manage. Against Osseo, Loughlin had his best game of the season, recording a season-high 12 total tackles and a TFL. His tape reveals him to be a hard-nosed ILB who plays downhill and fights hard through offensive linemen. I'd love to get a closer look at him during a combine this offseason!

LB: [player_tooltip player_id='1288283' first='Andrew' last='McGee'], 6'3" 215 lbs, Shakopee 2027

I don't want to jump the gun on McGee's potential, but a lot of how this kid plays screams high-level to me. Last week was his second straight game of recording 15 tackles, and he came down with his second interception of the season as well. The kid is a thumper and looks almost out of place playing high school ball. He moves insanely well for his size and has quick reflexes that are evident on his tape. He's a one-man wrecking crew, and I'm pumped to see what he can accomplish throughout his junior year.

ATH: [player_tooltip player_id='592238' first='Christian' last='Peris'], 5'9" 175 lbs, Shakopee 2026

Peris was Shakopee's offensive MVP last week against Osseo, and he could be found making plays all over the field. The senior captain and All-State track athlete took 8 rushes for a wild 131 yards, 2 TDs, and a 2-point conversion. But his success didn't end there. He also had a lion's share of the team's receptions (3) for 45 yards and a rare Shakopee receiving TD. Some school is getting a steal in Peris.
