2028, features some young talent still developing. Despite the development and youth with these signal callers, we still see a numerous number of players tearing up the state. Along with multiple impressive starters, we have backups, who have showed out in camps and are waiting for their turn to shine. With that being said, let's look at some 2028 QB's you should know.

Moye is the top QB in 2028. The Monsignor Farrell signal caller, has all the potential to become a national recruit. Moye started five games, as a Freshman in Catholic League play, where he had solid numbers. This season, the Lions QB, has turned it up a notch, leading his team to a 4-1 record in 2025. Moye is a huge part of that, as he has nine touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and over five hundred yards, against top competition.

Moye has a quick release and is extremely accurate. For a young prospect, he has tools well above his age. He has outstanding vision, and can create plays with his legs. He is an outstanding prospect you need to see in person.

Diieso is a prospect who can easily see himself move up rankings as the season progresses. Last season, he sat behind one of the top QB's in the state, allowing him to learn under a top system. In his first year of starting, his consistency stands out over his stats. With RB [player_tooltip player_id='425629' first='Xavier' last='Bala'], running the ball is used more with Diieso in the backfield. Despite this, the Friars QB, has showed early promise, with 694 yards, with one touchdown, and one interception, through the air and ground.

Diieso, excels in the RPO game, where he displays a quick release and an accurate throw. He has good vision and can anticipate a route, allowing his receivers to get open. He shows great poise and confidence, throwing into tight windows, and doing so with accuracy and ease. Diieso is a QB who intrigues me, as the future of the QB position the next two years at St. Anthony's is his.

Clum is a player I missed in my 2028 rankings. The Red Hook QB, is in his first year as a starter, and is tearing up the stat sheet. Through three games, the Sophomore has 12 touchdowns, through the air and the ground, with over 900 yards. To make his stats more impressive, he is doing this with a 79% completion percentage.

There is no recent film yet to watch for Club, but standing at 6'1" 185-Pounds, he displays an impressive size for the QB position which should help him as his career progresses. Clum is a guy I can see becoming on of the top QB's in the state.

Jimenez is a player who is unafraid to throw the ball. Mt. St. Michael is one of the forgotten Catholic League teams given the powerhouses you find in the League. Jimenez is a young QB, who has three touchdowns, and four interceptions on the season, to pair with 538 yards.

Jimenez is a young undersized QB, but the potential is off the charts. He is unafraid to throw the ball, and excels outside the pocket. The MSMA QB, needs to work on every trait from accuracy-footwork, but given his experience, and potential, keep an eye on Jimenez, to potential become a renowned QB across New York.

[player_tooltip player_id='1354562' first='Jaydin' last='Jackson'] is not yet a starter for Iona Prep, sitting behind Maryland Commit [player_tooltip player_id='735876' first='Julian' last='Guzman'], who is one of the top 2026 QB's. So why is Jackson included? He has found reps in almost every game this season, and looks like the next signal caller of the Gaels Dynasty. Jackson will most likely not start this season, but you need to know his name, and don't be surprised when his time comes and he takes the state by storm.

Jackson shows excellent traits on film, the 6'2" 175-Pound QB is built for the QB position. Jackson displays outstanding patience, and has amazing pocket presence. He is outstanding outside the pocket, as he has great legs, and can reach a top speed with ease. The Gaels QB, also shows a quick release with a fast ball, delivered with accuracy. Jackson can fine tweak his traits as he progress, with his main focus being footwork. But he has all the potential to become one of the top 2028 QB's and don't be surprised when he is.
