As we get deeper into the month of September, we are already in the fifth week of the high school football regular season in the state of Kentucky. With that in mind, I wanted to highlight some seniors at each position who have stood out so far in their final season. After already covering the offensive skill players, here are some offensive linemen in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky who have stood out so far this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176921' first='Carson' last='Bugg'] is an offensive lineman who has been attracting a lot of attention over the past year. Bugg lines up at left tackle where he is a dominant run blocker. He explodes out of his stance and does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man down the field. Carson is also a very reliable pass blocker, showing impressive footwork which he uses to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge with ease. Bugg currently holds offers from UT-Martin, Gardner-Webb, and Rhode Island, and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='971532' first='Ethan' last='Pittman'] has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to stand out as a senior. Pittman has shown impressive versatility, showing the ability to play both tackle spots. He is at his best as a run blocker, showing the ability to create movement off the line of scrimmage with ease and finish his blocks through the whistle. Pittman has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field. Ethan currently holds multiple offers and I expect more to come his way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='401696' first='Colton' last='Lewis'] has been a key addition to the Atherton offensive line after transferring from Pleasure Ridge Park for his senior year. Lewis lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive in the run game. He has shown the ability to finish his blocks quickly with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. Colton has also proven to be able to pick up blocks in the open field with ease once he gets to the second level. Lewis is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing much penetration into the pocket. Colton currently holds an offer from Kentucky Wesleyan and I expect college coaches to be paying close attention to him this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172300' first='Zachary' last='Philpot'] caught my attention during the camp circuit this offseason and he has continued to impress during his senior year. Philpot lines up at left tackle where he is mauler in the run game. He uses his high motor to drive his man down the field with ease and finish his blocks several yards down the field, often ending in a pancake block. Philpot has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and destroy any defender in his path as a lead blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1697789' first='Tristan' last='French'] is off to a strong start to his senior season. He lines up at right guard where he is a very impressive run blocker. French does a great job of walling off his man to create an inside running lane for the ball carrier. Once he gets the defender walled off, he runs his feet through contact to drive them out of the picture with ease. In pass protection, Tristan does a great job of maintaining a strong base while taking on contact and fighting with his hands to keep inside position. Tristan currently holds offers from Kentucky Wesleyan and Saint Mary of the Woods, and I expect more to come his way soon as he has the talent to play at the next level.

The final 2026 offensive lineman in the state of Kentucky who has stood out to me so far this season is [player_tooltip player_id='1617495' first='Jack' last='Barker']. Barker has played a key role in St. Xavier's 3-0 start to their season. He lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive in space in the run game. Barker has shown the ability to get to the second level with a sense of urgency and pull from the tackle spot then pick up blocks with ease in the open field. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to use his quick footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Barker currently holds offers from Franklin, Mount Saint Joseph, and Hampden-Sydney, and I expect more to come his way throughout the season.
