Wittenberg-Birnamwood vs Bonduel: Top Prospects to Know

Take a look at who impressed in this highly contested week 1 matchup.    Kaden is electric every time he touches the ball. Not only is he fast but his running ability in space feels so natural. He effortlessly breezes by defenders, making it look easy. Kaden scored three long rushing touchdowns vs Bonduel and displayed high level play-making ability. He moved around in the Chargers offense, lining up at wing, out wide, and in the backfield. Kaden has the athletic ability to be one of the top receivers in the state this season.     Carson was making a name for himself in the Bonduel backfield. He is so quick off the ball and uses his hands to shrug off offensive lineman to create chaos for the ball-carrier. At times, he would beat his blocker to the spot, and he would have a TFL. On passing downs, he is non-stop seeking out the QB. Carson is always active on every down and is on tap for a big senior season as an interior defensive lineman.     Mason is huge body to move at his center position. Standing at 6'4 and weighting 260 pounds, Mason was opening big holes in the run game. He does well when he chips the opposing lineman and moves onto the backers in the second level. Mason has the size to stonewall the nose tackle and help his offense churn out extra yards. Mason was very impressive at center and absolutely can play there at the next level.     Eddie is at his best when he gets out in space. The Senior offensive lineman is an exceptional pulling guard and was looking for pancake's vs Bonduel. Eddie would not let up until the whistle was blown. He was opening holes left and right for the Chargers. When you get Eddie in space as the lead blocker, he has such great vision of where any tacklers could be coming from. As a returning all-conference guard, Eddie is primed to repeat that success this season.     Zandyr played an exceptional game in the secondary vs Bonduel. He displayed athletic ability on an incredible interception for the Chargers. Zandyr was locked onto his receiver and high pointed the ball in midair. He snagged it over the receiver and halted the Bears offense on that drive. I think Zandyr can be one of the top defensive backs in the CWC-Large this year.     While other defensive lineman for the Chargers may make more splash plays, Nick is the heart and soul of a very good line. He is a huge (6'3 250) run stuffing stop gate. He does all of the little things well. Nick will fill his gap responsibly and by doing so, his linebackers can clean up the mess created by him. Only a junior this year, Nick's best football is ahead of him.     Not often do you see a player as versatile as Ryan. He has a huge frame (6'6 235) and does a little bit of everything on both offense and defense. Offensively, Ryan anchors the Bears running game, while also getting the rock a few times when he lines up at fullback. With his size, he is very hard to tackle and brings the thunder in the run game. On defense, he is a powerful defensive end and how sets the tone on every snap. Ryan has a college ready body and should have a huge senior year.     Carter is a supremely athletic weapon for Bonduel. On offense, he plays running back and uses his massive size (6'2 195) to bring it to defenders. Not only does he have the size, but he also has the speed. He used that speed on a punt return where he scampered down the sideline to set up the Bears with great field position before halftime. He is also a thumper at linebacker and blitzes very well. Only a Junior, Carter is just getting started on what he can do as a football player.     Mason has all of the intangibles you want as a wide receiver. He is supremely athletic and is a mismatch for most cornerbacks. Standing at 6'3, Mason can leap bounds down the field. On the first drive of the game for the Bears, He had a big-time touchdown catch where he skyed in the air and snatched the ball in the back of the endzone. He also is a heck of a blocker at receiver, latching onto defenders and driving them away from the play. I think Mason is on tap for a big senior year this season.     Quinn is a basketball standout for Bonduel but also excels on the gridiron. After playing wide receiver last year, Quinn was moved to QB this season. He has quite the arm and throws the ball with some zip to it. Quinn also can improvise in the pocket and create time for his receivers to flash open. I think Quinn will be one of the top QBs in the Packerland Conference this season.
