The fourth-most productive receiver in all classes and the No. 1 pass-catcher returning while moving up from Class A to Class 1A, Cael Witt caught 74 passes for 1,130 yards and 11 scores in the Trojans' state championship season from the top passer in the class, [player_tooltip player_id='1621125' first='AJ' last='Harder'].

In one of the most air-it-out centric offenses in the state, Witt was the beneficiary of being set up to catch open passes, but was also trusted to defeat one-on-one coverage in the end zone, and allowed to make plays when catching passes in the flat.

With a nearly identical season to his teammate Witt, [player_tooltip player_id='1668461' first='Zach' last='Nelson'] also benefitted mightily from Tri-Center's air raid offense with Harder under center. Nelson finished the season just behind Witt in almost every statistical category, grabbing 73 catches for 1,118 yards and beating him out in touchdowns with 13.

Three inches taller and nearly 20 pounds heavier than Witt, Nelson served as more of a true X-receiver for Tri-Center. A deep-ball threat that was a "go up and get it" wideout with strong hands, Nelson can also reach out and grab one-handed catches.

After finishing with 54 catches for 1,003 yards and ten touchdowns in 2024, [player_tooltip player_id='1689991' first='Samuel' last='Benson'] is the top receiver whose team is staying in 1A.

Quarterback, Peyton Welch's primary target in the passing game last fall, Benson out-produced his nearest pass-catching teammates by nearly 40 catches, over 800 yards and at least six touchdowns. The safety net for Welch when the pocket collapsed and his go-to in any other normal passing situation, it's a wonder the 6'2", 190-pound wideout didn't face more double-coverage in 2024. With the ability to track the deep ball, a wide catch-radius and his knack for late extension to grab passes, Benson is one of the more natural receivers in this class.

Shocker -- another Regina Regal makes the list of most productive returners back in 1A. Following appearances by his quarterback, [player_tooltip player_id='1657101' first='Kyle' last='Tracy'] and running back, [player_tooltip player_id='1197445' first='Savion' last='Miller'], 2027 TE/LB hybrid, [player_tooltip player_id='466364' first='Tate' last='Wallace'] comes in as the No. 4 returning receiver in 1A. The Power Four edge/linebacker recruit grabbed 51 catches for 752 yards and eight scores last fall.

With the same long arms Wallace uses to rush the passer and grab tackles for loss, the 6'3", 225-pound prospect extends for tough catches in tight coverage and has the spatial awareness to keep his feet in bounds. Long, bounding strides help him in the open field, too, as he can catch the ball with space and take off for big gains or touchdowns.

Wallace holds offers from Minnesota and Tennessee.

Despite posting just a three-win season last season with Shenandoah, Cole Graham and the Mustangs did put up some gaudy numbers from time-to-time on the offensive side of the ball. With junior quarterback Joe O'Rourke and his top pass-catcher coming back, Shenandoah could be among one of the best passing offenses in 1A this fall.

In 2024, Graham caught 41 passes for 731 yards and ten of O'Rourke's 15 touchdown passes.
