He carried the football 54 times for 427 yards and eight touchdowns last season. Wilkins is first in line to replace Evan Blouir (graduated, rushed for 2,217 yards and 35 touchdowns) as the lead back. He may have a small frame, but he runs tough and is a blur on the football field. Wilkins reaches top speed quickly and explodes through the hole. Wilkins has that second gear that you look for when evaluating running backs. He went for over 110 receiving yards in four contests last year. Towson has offered him. What I love is how Patuxent finds multiple ways to get him the football. Whether it's on end-arounds, him lining up on the outside, or even in the backfield, Jones with the football in his hands means a big play is always possible. Yes, he has the speed. He made 106 total tackles (76 solo, 11 tackles for a loss), recovered two fumbles, intercepted one pass, and deflected four passes. Pound-for-pound, Sands is one of the toughest linebackers out there. What he lacks in size, he makes up for it with his football instincts (ability to read plays quickly), tackling ability, closing speed, and cover skills. Sands is a physical player who is also solid against the run. He's a versatile lineman who can line up as a 3-tech or 0-tech. Baugher maintains leverage and holds his ground. He's quick to disengage from blockers and make tackles in the run game.
