PRZ Crystal Ball, Calling My Shot on Future '28 Top Prospects Pt2

<p class="text-gray-700">At 6'3” and 215 pounds, Talley is a varsity wrestler whose stock is steadily rising from multiple vantage points. Having met him in person and seen his build firsthand, I can attest to the physical tools already in place. Combined with the coaching/guidance he's receiving at The Haverford School and additional work behind the scenes, there's every reason to believe his frame will continue to develop in a way that will catch the attention of next-level recruiters, on top of helping him perform well at TE and/or LB. </p>   <p>Projections and looking good in pads will only get a prospect so far, Talley is going to have to prove his worth on a loaded program filled with equally promising talent. I imagine Talley will find the LB position a bit easier to adapt to, yet he's currently ranked as the top TE prospect in what is an early/premature TE state-wide list. I cannot provide much of an evaluation, yet from what I hear from coaches at the HS and college level that I trust, I get the sense that programs recruiting underclassmen from Western Pennsylvania will be intrigued at the very least. Excited to see how Montour utilizes this kid's skill set.</p> </blockquote>   <p>After two 2028 ranking updates, [player_tooltip player_id='1365217' first='Brandon' last='Bennett'] is secure on the short list of prospects whose names I'm sending to FBS coaches recruiting PA underclassmen. Admittedly, [player_tooltip player_id='1708396' first='Andre' last='Maina'] is a prospect that I'm a bit unfamiliar with. </p>   <p>I'm aware of other programs that have him on their radar. I'm aware he's developing at a blue-blood program with a fantastic development track record. Currently ranked as a future Top Five OL prospect. That being said, if Maina stays at the 230-240 weight range, I wouldn't be surprised to see McDevitt experiment with Maina along the defensive front four, if they haven't done so already. The first was mentioned in a piece released yesterday, including sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1085691' first='Adam' last='Briggs']. Now we shed light on '28 RB [player_tooltip player_id='959474' first='Julius' last='Riddick']. 5'10, 200 pounds, a great weight for an underclassman, he looks to be carrying it well too, this via clips on X. 4.32 GPA, ranked as a Top 50 sophomore prospect currently, up nearly 40-50 spots since our post-season update this past January.</p>   <p>Looks comfortable running off-tackle in 10 personnel sets. Works well with space in front of him. Tape shows Riddick has a clear understanding of pacing, when to throttle down to set up blocks downfield or when to step on the gas behind the LOS to press a hole/gap. The second rep on his freshman tape gives coaches a good idea of the contact balance and leg drive the 200-pound sophomore back brings with each rep. Active in the screen game. Riddick already has a nose for the endzone. A ton of young backs show promise underneath ten yards, yet Riddick is already proving that he has the vision/acceleration combo to turn first downs into touchdowns. Names like Darold Dengohe (now at Rutgers) and [player_tooltip player_id='940385' first='Jemel' last='Williams'] (recent Albany commit) come to mind when looking at Davidson from a pure scouting perspective. </p>   <p>There isn't much tape to be had, yet I won't fault him as a tape-lacking freshman on one of the premier programs in the entire Northeast. Knowing what I know about LaSalle's development program, I have every reason to believe that [player_tooltip player_id='1164037' first='Kaleb' last='Davidson'] will likely be put to task to fill a similar mold left behind by the likes of Dengohe and others. Davidson's future lies directly in line with his own personal work ethic. No amount of exposure or handouts from media like myself will be worth a damn if the player in mind doesn't put forth production. I'm confident early on that Davidson will do just that.
