Preseason Preview- Talented TEs With Huge Seasons Ahead

We've made it to August! With the season quickly approaching, we thought we'd take a look at some of the TEs across the state!   These guys are seriously talented and have huge seasons ahead. Make sure you look out for them this fall.   You won't want to miss out on this group of talent. Be sure to check out their film below.    [player_tooltip player_id='1337998' first='Armari' last='Towns'] is a dominant piece of Hoover's passing attack and has a big senior season ahead.   “Standing at 6'6 220, Towns physically outmatches every defender that lines up across from him and does a great job utilizing his size to his advantage. Frequently on tape, Towns can be seen mossing DBs and playing through contact really well, consistently requiring multiple defenders to bring him down after the catch.   It's also impressive watching how well Towns can move and run routes at his size; he can gain a lot of separation with his quickness and can cause some serious damage after the catch.“   A few weeks back, Towns committed to Purdue! He's set up for great success this fall, and at the next level, it'll be exciting seeing what he does.   Check out some of Towns' film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1672874' first='Carson' last='Stephens'] is a talented TE out of St. Paul's Episcopal with a big junior season ahead.   "Stephens is a physical TE who creates huge opportunities for his teammates at the line of scrimmage and downfield with his blocking. He's quick on his feet, can maneuver the field, and has the leverage and strength to drive defenders back several yards.   Stephens is just as productive as a pass catcher- he is a dangerous red zone threat who uses his size, hands, and catch radius to haul in impressive catches over the tops of defenses. Stephens can do so many things well at the position; it'll be exciting watching him this fall."   Stephens started generating collegiate interest this offseason- it'll be exciting seeing who else sends offers his way.   Make sure you check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1638012' first='Ben' last='Moseley']<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/ben-moseley-2/"></a> is a dominant TE out of Cherokee County coming off a huge junior season last fall.   “Moseley is a physical blocker up front who creates huge opportunities for his teammates on the ground- at 6'5 210, he has great size, moves well, is strong, and can help open up rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage and beyond.   Moseley is just as reliable a pass catcher. With his size and athleticism, he's a tough-to-guard matchup for DBs who can quickly gain separation and haul in impressive receptions all over the field.“   Moseley created a ton of huge blocks and racked up 11 receptions for 260 yards and 3 TDs last season.   A little while back, Moseley committed to Duke!   Mosley put together some impressive tape from last season. Give him a watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1653616' first='Matthew' last='McIntyre'] is a versatile TE out of Mars Hill with a big junior season on the horizon.   "I'm really impressed with McIntyre's versatility- he's a physical blocker down on the line of scrimmage who can also produce as a pass catcher. McIntyre opens up tons of opportunities for his teammates at the line. He explodes off the snap, plays with great strength and leverage, and easily drives back defenders to create wide rushing lanes.   McIntyre is just as productive as a pass catcher. At 6'3 230, he has great size, speed, and twitch he uses to create separation and haul in receptions all over the field. It's impressive seeing how McIntyre uses his size to dominate DBs. He's a physical pass catcher who can bring in catches over the top and through contact."   McIntyre has already received offers from in-state programs like Troy and UAB. We'll have to keep track of him- I'm sure more offers are heading his way!   Make sure you watch some of McIntyre's tape below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1295593' first='Jackson' last='Martin'] is a dominant TE out of Hewitt-Trussville that everyone should watch out for this fall.   “At 6'4 240, Martin can flat-out move- he plays with great speed and can quickly get downfield and haul in some huge passes, especially in the red zone.   I'm seriously impressed with Martin's speed and acceleration with the ball in his hands. He's not just a threat downfield; he can also create huge plays off of shorter/screen passes with how quickly he gets moving, and at his size, he's not exactly a guy defenders want to face head-on, full speed.“   Martin made some impressive plays last fall, ending his sophomore season with 10 receptions for 132 yards and 3 TDs.   Throughout this offseason, Martin has picked up offers from Georgia Southern and Southern Miss.   Since our last update, Martin has put on more weight and is playing at 240 now. I think he'll have a breakout season this fall, we'll have to be on the lookout.      [player_tooltip player_id='1635733' first='Levi' last='Madrid'] is a really well roudned TE out of Mortimer Jordan that defenses should look out for this fall.   “Madrid is a talented and physical blocker who opens up so much space for his teammates at the line of scrimmage and beyond. He plays with great leverage, strength, and effort- consistently blocking through the whistle every snap.   Madrid can also create huge impacts as a pass catcher, he's quick on his feet, runs precise routes, and has a reliable set of hands he uses to secure catches all over the field.“   Madrid put together a productive season last fall, ending his junior year with 21 receptions for 258 yards and 4 TDs, while also providing tons of key blocks all year long.   A few weeks back, Madrid picked up another offer from Hendrix!   Make sure you watch some of Madrid's tape below, he has a huge year in store for Mortimer Jordan.      [player_tooltip player_id='749640' first='Tanner' last='Ehmen'] is a dominant TE out of Thompson who's set up for a huge season this fall.   "At 6'4 195, Ehmen is a dominant pass catcher who pairs his size and speed downfield to create huge plays. Ehmen is quick on his feet, runs great routes, and has the receiving skills to come down with the ball anywhere on the field.   Ehmen has great hands, a dominant catch radius, and impressive body control he uses to haul in tough-to-catch passes through contact/coverage and in the red zone.   Ehemen also excels at blocking- he uses his size, leverage, and strength to drive back DBs and LBs several yards downfield and create huge opportunities for his teammates."
