Stepping closer and closer to the season, we will continue our coverage at warp speed to sneak in every athlete in the 2030 class that deserves the recognition in advance of the fall. The next position up is the wide receivers who, next to the quarterbacks, may have the most players that are already on scouts and coach's radars. Luckily I have gotten the chance to see a few of them perform in person at offseason events and let me tell you right now, these players do not disappoint.

Make sure to check out the previous articles in the series and follow me on X at @jondavalosFB for up to date player evaluations

Mason is an electric receiver who immediately stands out when he lines up outside. His stature alone sets him apart, towering over the defenders tasked with slowing him down. With room to continue adding size to his frame, Mason is only scratching the surface of his physical potential. Built for contested catch situations, Mason thrives when the ball is in the air, using his length and body control to come down with tough grabs. Just as impressive is his ability to flip a switch and accelerate downfield. Mason uses his long, powerful strides to create separation, leaving trailing defenders in the dust as he pulls away.

While his offensive skill set makes him a true playmaker, what really stands out is how well rounded he's becoming. Mason's offseason defensive work has shown flashes of him developing into a rangy, intimidating safety, one who can cover massive amounts of ground. That kind of versatility makes him one of the most exciting 2030 prospects to watch.

https://twitter.com/mason_rohan11/status/1959055508742307843

[player_tooltip player_id='1476964' first='Miles' last='Block'] is a dynamic receiver whose quick burst off the line and crafty footwork give him a clear advantage against corners right from the snap. He's a sharp route runner who can break quickly and stop on a dime, leaving backpedaling defensive backs scrambling to recover. His reliability shows in his hands as he made a leaping touchdown in Freehold's scrimmage last weekend, and continued to impress in his Week 1 performance in their 30-8 win.

What makes Miles even more valuable is his versatility and toughness with the ball in his hands. He's a true athlete who can line up not only outside but also in the backfield, giving his team flexibility in how they attack defenses. As a ball carrier, his strong leg drive and quick cuts allow him to fight for extra yards and make defenders miss, often getting them to overcommit before cutting back and extending the play. Miles refuses to go down without a fight, bringing a relentless edge to every rep.

https://twitter.com/MilesBlock2030/status/1959964690362093773

[player_tooltip player_id='1530475' first='Davion' last='Mims'] already stands at an impressive 6 feet tall. He has all the makings of a true WR1; someone who not only looks the part but plays it with confidence and control. Despite his height, Davion moves with surprising nimbleness, showing the ability to adjust smoothly and position himself to make plays. His vertical capabilities set him apart, as he combines his natural length with explosive leg power to out leap defenders and high point the football. Add in his knack for acrobatic, difficult catches, and it's easy to see why he's a mismatch nightmare for opposing secondaries.

What excites coaches and evaluators most is how much untapped potential Davion still has. His size and pass catching ability already overwhelm defenses, but there's another level he can reach as his route running continues to sharpen. Getting more tape of him in open space will reveal just how much of a threat he can be when given room to operate.

https://twitter.com/Cantguard_Dae/status/1909041956824535300

Ziyon is a versatile playmaker who shines as both a wide receiver and linebacker, bringing toughness and athleticism to every snap. He makes challenging catches look easy, using excellent body control and balance to contort for the ball while staying aware of his positioning on the field. Once he secures the catch, his speed allows him to quickly separate and pick up big yards after the play, making him a constant threat to defenses. With his combination of skill, versatility, and athleticism, Ziyon is on the right trajectory, and 2025 looks like the year he firmly establishes himself as one of the top talents to watch in New Jersey.

https://twitter.com/Ziyont13/status/1863396735776682142
