In 2024, I first got the chance to see Narr play at the Prep Bowl in week 9. His performance was good enough to make my Prep Bowl Defense team. I saw the potential of a star safety. He's instinctual, has good technique and good form when coming up to play physical in the run game. He seemed to find the ball on nearly every play. He was in on nearly every play, playing sideline to sideline for 4 straight quarters. Narr has the opportunity to step up and be the true leader of this defense and lead this team both with his leadership and with his play.

There's not much I don't like about Brandon Adams and his game. He was a big piece of the OLSM defense that ended up winning a state title. It always felt like this team was being touted for their elite offense, but their defense had some really impressive performances as well. In 2025, I expect an expansion on what we saw from him: playing LB,EDGE and TE. I would love to see him really step into the leadership role with the defense and show everyone just why all of these D1 schools have come calling. Adams will likely work his way into being a household name this fall, and I am excited to see it!

Heading into last season, we weren't sure what to expect from North Muskegon. Transfers and graduation changed the roster significantly. Still, the Norsemen found themselves in a dogfight in the semifinals with the eventual state champion. Bartos has taken on a lot of different roles, but he really shines as a linebacker and running back. He's a physical runner who is able to fall forward for extra yardage and run through weak arm tackles. He's also a great run stuffing linebacker with great instincts and all of the aggression you could want. He's will have the chance this fall to step up and be a tremendous leader for the Norsemen in 2025. North Muskegon will once again be a contender with Bartos and others taking on bigger roles.

I think Muhammad gives Oak Park a shot to be really interesting in 2025. He's an incredibly elusive QB who is able to extend plays both within the pocket and outside when he escapes to pick up yardage even when things seem to be broken down. On top of that, he seems like he has a good arm, puts the ball in some tight windows, and he also demonstrates the ability to anticipate and hit guys right out of their break. I'll be paying attention to a few players for OP, and Muhammad will absolutely be one of them!

The Spring Lake offensive line has had some turnover, and I think it's time for [player_tooltip player_id='1337476' first='Jacob' last='Troast'] to step up and be the undisputed leader! Troast has put out a lot of good film, and has showed out at camps and showcases over the offseason. I love his aggression, technique and ability to completely overwhelm opponents. As far as offensive linemen go in West Michigan, Troast is one of the best of the bunch. I am extremely excited to step into the role of being the anchor of the offensive line unit for Spring Lake this season.
