’26 Rankings Update: The Athlete Film Room, Part II

As is the case with any rankings update, we want to celebrate and highlight select prospects who had some&nbsp;<em>really&nbsp;</em>nice film and talk about their game. When lined up at receiver, we see him change speeds to open up the hips of defensive backs for easy wins at the line off of his release. Additionally, we see the 2026 graduate make toe-tapping and falling catches alike. Once he possesses the ball, we see Fitzgerald use the stiff arm to create space for himself. As a cornerback he is a bigger body who comes up to make really good form tackles. This reaction time also shows itself when Fitzgerald aggressively defends the short passing game. Something only a coaches eye would notice, when he does this Fitzgerald is sure to maintain his force leverage. I thought Fitzgerald move well on film - a solid backpedal with hips that can flip when he must turn and run or allow him to accelerate and get down hill, breaking up passes through the receiver's body. Lince does a nice job high pointing the ball and using his catches to catch the ball. On defense Lince is a corner who reacts very quickly to the short passing game, breaking up passes in contested situations. I would consider Lince a good hitter and solid wrapper. With the ball in his hands, Lince is a very hard runner and likely his team's best athlete. His film justifies this by how he is a secure, full-forced tackler with a head of steam - especially when he times it off the edge. An astute reader of things in front of him, Moreta reads screens extremely well and jumps those routes. Moreover, this dynamic defender stays in his backpedal for a long period of time, showing how well he moves. When required to walk out the box to cover spread sets, Moreta can cover and run with receivers, while being able to jam others. Adding to his versatility, Moreta uses a swim move to win. A receiver with long legs, Armour has tremendous strides when he runs. When he uses those strides to get behind defenses, we see that he tracks the ball both in stride and over his shoulder effectively. The product of good coaching, Armour snaps his hips well to create space for himself at the stem of his routes. Defensively Armour lines up at cornerback, where his long frame allows him to make plays and tip passes you might not expect your average player to. An athletic piece, Armour is quick and strong enougho to bite inside and get back outside to recover. I like my college prospects raw - which Armour is, and can likely play either side of the ball at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/hudl
