<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1283780' first='Carmine' last='Florio'] 6'0" 185 LB Rumson-Fair Haven</td><td>Reads, gets down hill quickly; breaks down in the hole and finds work, causes himself to be a bit out of position and have to arm tackle or gather; pad level is a bit high; shoulder tackling can improve, can hit/wrap/drive against someojne; makes diagnose step and gets to his drop; rallies to the ball very well, has a motor and hustles; can diagnose screen game; need to see him in coverage more</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='835250' first='Carter' last='Smith'] 5'10" 300 OL/DL Donovan Catholic</td><td>Nose, plays with a good base and can attack half man; guard that sort of catches rather than attacking his gap; good get off on defense, causes disruption in the backfield; hits a forklift move when engaged, want to see him hit a move earlier in the play; quick when pulling; needs to work arm extension and lock out on defense; gets good vertical displacement on double teams; personally like him a bit more on defense</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='910859' first='Cayden' last='McCormick-Giletto'] 6'1" 250 OL/DL Seneca</td><td>Rips across the face of back blockers to make plays on defense; can absorb and turn a screaming blitzer when uncovered in pass protection; feels pressure, fights it by spinning; keeps his feet moving on defense, stays active; strong up top as a guard, has shown to tie people up or chop and land; one play flung a defender off of him with a press; gets good movement when 1on1 blocking; wins, does not dominate, to warrant higher ranking</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1515034' first='Chase' last='Horner'] 6'0" 185 DB Seneca</td><td>Does not take drop, tackles a bit high at times, or goes for ankles; must make effort to maintain force leverage; good angles to the ball carrier; film is nearly exclusively as a run support safety, few clips of him in pass coverage; can putthe ball about 45 yards at his best</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1105210' first='Chaz' last='Gray'] 6'4" 225 DL St. Joes Regional</td><td>End, physical with hard joint when boxing; sort of stops and then goes when executing line stunts; have not seen him bend corner or get hips aroudn when pass rushing; has lenght to corral and reach/grab tackle when misses; has moments when he stops on the field and assesses; plays high mostly</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1657604' first='Chiemerie' last='Attah'] 5'10" 175 LB Sayreville War Memorial</td><td>Gives his body to block, full body into matchupl JV film on his tape; jumps on you to tackle at moments; does not get low enough, poor pad level, technique when tackling; hustles and tries hard, moves a bit inefficiently and/or out of control</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1693311' first='Chris' last='Owen'] 6'0" 215 LB Camden Catholic</td><td>Linebacker, needs more efficient movements; tight end, blocking can improve, sort of gives up ground to hook and seal that way, rather than drive and move; either hops or takes a read step when defending the run, does not play down hill; tackles and closes upright; looks like he can run well</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476843' first='Chris' last='Raub'] 5'8" 160 WR Southern Regional</td><td>Route breaks are not sharp; able to high point the ball well and use his hands to do so; used on the outside and in the slot; can make athletic, acrobatic catches; can get some separation, but does not separate from the pack</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1568372' first='Christakis' last='Nicolaou'] 5'10" 160 DB Old Tappan</td><td>Keeps eyes on quarterback and trusts his ability to runa nd cover; high points the ball really well, can get up there a bit too; needs to identify himself pre snap on film; gets hips around, a bit slow, albeit effective agianst most matchups; plays very good team defense; have not seen him drive on anything on his film exceptionally well, tested deep often; will deliver a hit, not wrap; does a great job of playing the ball as it arrives on short/intermediate routes; qualutg player that will help a program and play an immediate, serviceable role in college</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1551257' first='Christian' last='Alexander'] DL Seneca</td><td>Stadup edge, can get oa good get off, want to see him dip and finish with a rip; storng, bi tackler who can pick up and dump; plays with appropriat ebackfield depth when squeezing backside; secure tackler, although he does so high, he wraps well; runs upfield some when facing a reach, want to see him set that edge; seen an arm-over move; have not seen him be phsyical wiht oncoming blockers; Ithink there is somethign there, a pretty physical player, athletic for his size</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1602528' first='Christian' last='Dunoff'] 6'0" 170 DB/WR St. Augustine Prep</td><td>Runs stride for stride with matchup, can adjust and pluck the ball out of the air; solid break on short game, wraps and drives through body of matchup; unafraid when power is ran his way, gets low and wraps for a tackle; keeps his leverage when tackling as force player; stays on back pedal well, but then struggles to get hips around and get optimal position - when in suboptimal position he will match the receiver's hands and defend off of that; tooe plq634</td></tr><tr><td>CJ Griffith 6'1" 185 RB Ridge</td><td>Wing T Fullback, runs upright; hlds ball high, not necessarily tight; JV film; looks liie a big body; has sped to gain the edge on a toss and turn up the sideline; will set up a blocker; interested to see what he can do on defense, big body that could maybe play linebacker; uses hand to catch, must get ball to outside arm in open field</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1513550' first='CJ' last='Yates'] WR Central Regional</td><td>Will slow play things on the perimeter before turning up and making cuts; hips look shifty when making cuts; can come down with the ball through double coverage/traffic, several times; has speed to beat his man; shows a second gear, manipulates his speed to gain angles and yardage; does not always take ball with his hands; probably a receiver, but he is better with the ball in his hands than he is a receiver - find ways to get it to him; does not get much separation on his routes; seems a bit raw; high upside</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1533535' first='Cole' last='DeNick'] 5'10" 195 ATH Kingsway</td><td>Running back who runs upright; can scamper a bit, gains speed and accelerates; will lower shoulder through approaching contact; a bit of a rough and rugged running style; gets hands on when down on the line of scrimmage; takes a hop/read step, then levels out at moments when defending the pass.- other times gets his head on an a swivel; has a great deal of balance as a ball carrier, keeps up and does not get tripped up easily; seems like a very good tackler, uses shoulder; solid player, will help a team in some capacity</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='910824' first='Cole' last='Garrison'] 5'9" 150 ATH Toms River North</td><td>Wildcat; pins and protects ball; can sidestep defenders and make them miss; receiver; can get totally behind the secondary; returner; corner/safety; seds the edge with authority; strong shoulder tackler, wraps and drives; can burn an entire defense running from the wild cat; looks really athletic, raw athlete; asked to do a lot; catches the ball with his hands; type of player you design plays for; follows blockers, wont prematurely bounce; have not seen him make defenders miss all that much; willing blocker on perimeter too, wants his teammates to succeed; a bit smaller, but quick, fast, instinctual</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
