Although I consider the rankings process tedious and painstakingly scrupulous, it is a labor of love. What I love, perhaps, the most about it is that after hours of film being watched, I get to highlight and celebrate some of the best film that I watched. Using the Prep Redzone platform, I highlight these prospects and share them with you. After evaluating and ranking over 830 prospects, I am excited to present you this select-group who had film that I enjoyed and considered to be "must-see."

[player_tooltip player_id='1515075' first='James' last='Keneally'] might be a big fish in a small pond at New Providence; however, regardless of the pond he is in Keneally makes big plays. As a tight end he does a great job of climbing to the second level and getting his positioning against linebackers. With a big of a mean streak to him, we also see that Keneally looks to finish his blocks. Using his hands to catch, this tight end can carry a defender or two on his 6'3" frame. As an in-line blocker, Keneally does a superb job of refitting himself and adjusting his pad level mid-play to gain superior leverage. Knowing just exactly how big he is, Keneally plays that way when serving as a playside blocker. Also an interior lineman, he showcases great effort, gets hands on the man in front of him, and takes long strides when pass rushing despite being asked to play a gap control-focused scheme.

A quality prospect out of Red Bank Catholic, [player_tooltip player_id='1691501' first='Javier' last='Guzman'] was the elder statesman in their linebacking rotation. Able to explode downhill, Guzman plays under control as he breaks down in his gap, effectively taking it away in the process. As he zeroes in on the ball, Guzman attacks it and is actively seeking to make a big play - he trusts what he sees in front of him and goes after it. An instinctual prospect that is well coach, he gets to his drops quickly, pursues plays extremely well, and is nimble enough to avoid climbing linemen. His hips, I thought, were more akin to that of a safety, which adds to my belief that he might play the star position in college.

One of the most immediate and impressive things I saw [player_tooltip player_id='1678347' first='Jayden' last='Ashford'] do on tape was out of his squared backpedal, flip his hips fluidly, turn, flip them again if necessary, and run. Ashford's eyes are disciplined too, as he reads his matchups hips when in man coverage. When zoned up he does a nice job of passing off offensive threats through his zone. Using his body and the field to his advantage, we see him influence receivers into the boundary without using his hands, eliminating any space they have to make a catch in the process. Although he did show some good things on film as a receiver, I like him a whole lot more as a corner.

Last fall South V's top seed was an athletically-loaded Atlantic City squad. The senior of that fantastic group of skills was [player_tooltip player_id='1939127' first='Jaylen' last='Day']. After Day catches the ball - of which he uses his hands and not his body to do - he has a violent running style that I am managing to call "physical." Near-elite athleticism allows Day to start-and-stop effectively, especially with the type of speed that threatens defenders so they must play way off. A sturdy body and frame, we see him absorb hits and keep motoring along; in a similar fashion, he cannot be slung to the ground. I, personally, like Day's ability to create with the ball in his hands as he comes across on film as a determined ball carrier. Moreover, he can win poorly thrown 5050 balls up top
