2025 WV Team Preview: North Marion Huskies

The Huskies made the championship game in 2023 and will be a pesky out for the other top teams in the classification come playoff time. He's been at the top of the OL rankings since then and is a name that D2 programs should be targeting this fall. Gump has the feet to play tackle in high school, but would be an excellent guard in college. He's a mauling run blocker who finishes blocks and opens holes in the running game. He has a big frame that can be further molded into a DE/EDGE player at the next level, which is likely where he translates best as a prospect. Holden led the Huskies in tackles as a junior with 118 total tackles and will return as a defensive leader. He's not as big as some of the other athletes on their line, but Freels shouldn't be overlooked as a player.
