2025 WV Team Preview: Doddridge County Bulldogs

They'll be the smallest school in AA this year for enrollment, but have a talented roster capable of competing against the top dogs in the classification. He'll return for a fourth straight year of being a varsity standout and is a prospect that D2 programs around the state need to know. Glenville State extended Thomas his first offer from that level back in June, with D3 programs entering the mix since then. He's steadily grown into his body and moved to TE in our latest rankings update to reflect that. A shortened junior campaign may have people forgetting just how good he is at full strength and should have a bounce-back senior year. James can even line up as an undersized nose guard with the bulldog mentality that he has on the field. He finished his junior year with 135 tackles and 8 TFLs with 77 solo stops. Eidel is another undersized linebacker, but is worthy of D3 looks this fall. He has some length that colleges can add significant mass to at the next level with film at running back as well. He totaled 81 tackles and 7 TFLs as a junior for the Bulldogs as an interior defensive lineman. James would need to add significant size to stick there at the next level, which he has the potential to do.
