1st Team Preseason All-State Team

It is finally here! High school football is back this week! Prep Redzone wanted to kick it off in style with our Preseason All-State Team! Take a look at what players made it in 1st Team Preseason All-State Team!    Williams is the top QB in the senior class. The athletic signal caller put up big numbers in his first year at LWE as will look to put even more this season leading his team down state.     Big time arm and accuracy for this DGN quarterback. The Big 10 commit should post massive numbers as a senior.     Johnson-Cook just moved into Illinois from Texas and the East St. Louis product is one of the premier prospects in the state regardless of class with his game changing ability in the backfield.     Warner is the top back in the senior class. The CPS star broke out as a junior and has already committed to Mizzou.     Washington was a superstar last season both as a wide receiver and kick returner. The Michigan State commit is the #1 option for an explosive offense!     Burrell is an absolute freak show at wide receiver. He was a monster as a sophomore leading his team to a state championship as the go to weapon on offense.     Baker has flown up the board with a strong sophomore season and offseason. Absolutely electric with the ball in his hands and is a TD threat from anywhere on the field.     Mizzou commit is a long and lanky wide out that has vertical potential with his long strides and ability to catch the ball at the high point.     One of the most coveted pass catchers in the Midwest is headed to Ole Miss. He got his team to state a year ago and is looking to grab one more win this year.     Sutter is a freak show athlete at tight end for Dunlap that had every school in the country wanting him. Ultimately he decided to go to Alabama. One big season ahead before he heads to the SEC.     Mpouma is the best offensive tackle in the state. After never playing football before his junior season his athletic gifts translated and he quickly became a star that is headed to Nebraska.     The Illinois commit is an impactful player on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Offensively he is so light on his feet being effective in both the pass and run.     Schrieber is a Purdue commit that is a road grader up front. One of the more physically imposing lineman in the class.     Iowa commit that has all the tools to be the next in a long line of big time Hawkeye prospects up front.     Wagner is the #1 offensive lineman in the junior class. Elite size and skill up front and is being pursued from coast to coast.     Blade is the top pure pass rusher in the the class. The edge player gets up field with such a burst and has elite bend going after the QB.     Top senior defensive lineman was an anchor for Mt. Carmel in their 3-4 last season as the strong and long defensive end plays the run and pass equally well.     Tucker is the #1 sophomore in the state and on a defensive line with two P4 seniors he still is the one that pops out on tape every snap.     Parks is a big body up front that has all the tools to be an elite player at the next level. The junior from Brother Rice is primed for a massive season.     Indiana is getting a good one in Hill is brings a versatile skill set up front with the chance to impact right away.     Another Mt. Carmel defender on the list. Roman is a long and rangy linebacker that after a massive junior season became the clear top LB in the 2027 class.     White is a force for the Flyers with his ability to fly around and make plays with his excellent speed and tenacity.     Another East St. Louis linebacker here as Howard will be the anchor for the Flyers as an absolute tackling machine! He has committed to Central Michigan.     Hankins is the premier corner in the senior class. The Belleville West DB is silky smooth with his footwork and makes impactful plays on the ball. Headed to Illinois for college.     Harrington is the top DB in the junior class. He has everything you could ask for with his size, length, versatility, and playmaking!     Floyd emerged as a P4 prospect over the last year. The East St. Louis defensive back has typewriter footwork and is an absolute ball hawk!     Tilson is a Kentucky commit that is the top safety in the senior class. He covers a ton of ground and can lay the hammer when needed.     Rankin is the #1 overall prospect in the state. He is a special wide receiver that makes some of the most acrobatic catches you will ever see. The Illinois commit could also be a P4 safety if he wanted as well.     Grant is a freak show athlete! That is shown on both the hardwood and gridiron. Also displays it at wide receiver and safety. Maybe the best pure vertical in the class and already has tremendous size at 6'4". Committed to Illinois.     Jenkins is one of the more underrated players in the state. The electric athlete impacts in a major way on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
