Whose stock soared highest in our 2026 Rankings

<p>For the first time in over a year, we updated the Virginia Class of 2026 rankings. A very talented group top to bottom we ranked over 600 college level prospects, and added over 100 to our Watch list. Who were some of the biggest stock risers? </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">We bumped up Johnson one spot from a year ago to 4th overall as he heads into his final year with Oscar Smith. The Michigan commit is ready to play Power 4 football now in my opinion, but his Tigers teammates and him have another state title in mind first. [player_tooltip player_id='402779' first='Travis' last='Johnson'] is a top nationally ranked wide receiver who made some ridiculous receptions in the 7v7 tournaments this summer. You may have noticed a couple on the NFL Network as he was playing for the nationally regarded Level 82 and making a name for himself.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='855053' first='Brady' last='Owens'] saw him jump from our top 150 a year ago all the way to 27th overall! The Yorktown product was an all state performer as a junior with 41 receptions and nearly 40 pancake blocks. I remember when his recruiting really took off midway through his season, while I wasn't surprised, he has earned over 25 Division 1 offers. The Rutgers commit has the Patriots final season in Arlington on his mind now. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Brady_owens84/status/1858274845030584757 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Battlefield did quite well for themselves with this class and uncommitted defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1297613' first='Hayden' last='Loveless'] was one of the bigger benefiters. A second team all state selection, Loveless has 5 Division 1 offers and is looking for more. One of the best interion defensive lineman in Virginia Loveless saw his ranking rise into our top 40. He is bound to get a few more offers before Week 1, he is on a defense that already includes 3 Division 1 prospects.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/HaydenLoveles26/status/1869527082105192681 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Earning our top quarterback ranking, Syracuse bound Tyrell Grant has soared into 35th overall after being in the top 300 the season prior. A lot to like about this young man's game as he had showed my colleagues and I in person that he is the real deal. The number 1 qb in the state, Grant committed to Syracuse this past spring and it wouldn't shock me if he saw the field their as a freshman.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/tyrellgrantjr/status/1948006471268016188 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Bethel High school product [player_tooltip player_id='1295690' first='Amari' last='Pryear'] saw a jump from just outside of the top 300 to 78th overall. Pryear who has committed to Hampton University, had 1500 rushing yards to go along with 24 touchdowns.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Amaripryear/status/1856538164019769841 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Patriot's [player_tooltip player_id='1297964' first='Jorden' last='Benjamin'] has over 10 division 1 offers and was named an all region performer in 2024. Cracking our top 100 after not being ranked the year before, Benjamin remains one of highest ranked uncommitted recruits. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/jekbenji/status/1928217250101682398 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">A year ago [player_tooltip player_id='402281' first='Desmond' last='Jordan'] was barely in our top 400, fast forward after his outstanding junior season and he is all the up to 110th. Jordan is a tremendous athlete who could play quarterback or corner at the next level. To go along with his offensive outbreak, he also had two interceptions last fall.
