St. John's Jesuit enters the 2025 season looking to bounce back from a brutal 1-9 campaign, but optimism surrounds the Titans with the arrival of new head coach Joe Horn. The former Anthony Wayne offensive coordinator inherits a team loaded with experienced playmakers, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. With a returning starting quarterback, two proven wideouts, and a versatile backfield option, the Titans have the potential to make a quick turnaround and push for a postseason spot. Here are four key players to keep an eye on this fall.

Coy Hamic – QB – 2026
A returning starter who threw for 1,155 yards and seven touchdowns last season, Hamic has the experience to lead a turnaround under a new coaching staff. His ability to distribute the ball and push it vertically gives the Titans a stable offensive foundation. Has a chance to be a big-time breakout player in Northwest Ohio if the offensive line can give him the needed time to be accurate.

Lonzo Rivers – WR – 2027
Rivers brings explosive playmaking on the perimeter, leading the team in receiving yards (481) as a sophomore. His speed and yards-after-catch ability make him a legitimate big-play threat. Rivers is a player who should be making his way onto college scouting boards this fall with his raw ability. Rivers should be looked at as a college prospect this fall.

Karter Washington – WR – 2026
A reliable target with 40 receptions for 392 yards last fall, Washington is the possession receiver who keeps drives alive and provides a consistent option for Hamic in the passing game. Washington is a premier possession WR in NWO and will be looking to gain even more catches and yards this fall.

Romin Storey – ATH – 2026
Storey, who rushed for 300 yards last season, adds balance to the Titans' offense. With a more experienced offensive line and a new coaching scheme, he could see an expanded role. Storey is a glue guy for SJJ. I haven't seen him this summer, but I can imagine that the coach will have him playing in all phases of the game this season. He's too talented to be on the bench.
