PRZVA Team Previews: Gar Field Red Wolves

The second half of the regular season saw the Red Wolves really hit their stride with tremendous wins over Patriot and Forest Park. To catch everyone up to speed he was a part of a two quarterback system as a sophomore before really taking over duties towards the end of the 2023 season. Last fall entrenched as the number 1 qb, Hamlin helped Gar Field take flight. His accuracy and decision making improved drastically and now he has potential Division 2 and FCS suitors interested. Previously in the 2027 top 20 rankings, unfortunately Nelson tore his ACL before last season so hence why you see the slight drop. Seeing him up close this off-season and talking with Coach I can tell he is ready for a bounce back. A small powerful back who has the most deceptive speed I have seen on tape. Mora has some size and length to him as well standing at 6'1 and 225 lbs.. Possibly the best prospect in the Cardinal district, Richards has been a play making running back and a sideline to sideline linebacker. Lining him up next to Nelson defensively should boost the Red Wolves, it is scary to think about the potential of this entire defense to be honest. LJ recently and long overdue I might add picked up his first offer from Norfolk State.
