2025 Season Outlook

The 2025 season for Glenville promises to be a significant one for the program. The Tarblooders bring back a great group of talent and have plenty of younger athletes who will be able to contribute. The immediate skillset of Glenville that stands out is how fast and athletic they will be on the field. They have several skill position players who will be playing on Saturdays and at a high level. Their front seven will be a great unit, lead by two current Ohio State Buckeye commits. The talent on this team is deep, and once again in 2025, Glenville will be one of the best teams if not the best in all of D4.

Cincere has blossomed into a great prospect, and he solidified that statement with his recent commitment to the in-state Ohio State Buckeyes. He can flex between an EDGE and an off-ball linebacker. He plays aggressively and moves well. He's quick to recognize play patterns and has great play recognition. He's quick to pursue ball carriers and has great tackling form. Johnson has everything you could ask for for a P4 defensive prospect.

Newell is heading to the MAC, as he is currently a committed defender to Buffalo's 2026 class. Newell is one of several athletes who can wow you. In zone coverage, his instincts shine. He is quick to break on the ball and can showcase good ball skills. He's aggressive to break towards the ball and ball carriers and can lay down great tackles. I'm excited to watch Chris play this season.

Sadler is a complete package of a receiver. Pauly lines up outside primarily and can cook from both the inner and outer hash. He plays for the ball and is a great jump-ball target. He does well after the catch and can get loose. He is a great athlete and can get his body to flip quickly on balls thrown on the other side of his body. He is productive from every level of the field and will offer a lot to Glenville's passing attack.

Whipple is one of the best offensive linemen in all of northeast Ohio. He plays physical and aggressive. He's quick on his feet and moves well. He has an explosive play style and can throw some nasty blocks to finish plays. He picks up on defensive fronts well and is quick to get to odd-looking packages. He holds several D1 FBS offers and can add more with a great senior campaign.

Hearn is a top track athlete, and his athleticism carries over very well to the gridiron. He can work from both outside and the slot. His release is smooth and rapid. He showcased great change of direction ability and is a threat after the catch. He can also play as a punt and kick returner. London has been rising throughout the offseason, and I am excited to see what he can put on tape in the 2025 season.

Kaylon is a big breakout target for the Tarblooders this season. He's a balanced player. He already has a great frame and still has room to grow. He has a quick get-off and showcases explosiveness in his first step. He's a solid run-stuffer who can use his powerful arms and his play recognition to his advantage. His breakout will come with an expanded pass-rush skill set, but Kaylon has all the tools to do it.

Emiere will be someone to watch for regionally in 2025. His size is immediately noticeable, as he is every bit of 6'4''. He is an excellent blocker as a receiver. He is elusive after the catch and can make men miss. Emiere does a great job of getting vertical and creating big plays. If he is given any bit of key varsity time in 2025, watch out for the giant Lemons.

Arvell will be the starting quarterback rolling into the 2025 season. His arm is explosive. He has a quick release. He can drive the ball vertically. He does have the mobility to escape the pocket, but will look to use his legs to make a play through the air rather than take off. He can run the shotgun offense, and occasionally shows the ability to run RPOs/delayed play action. Arvell recently picked up an offer from Kent State and will look to add more offers in 2025.

Harden currently holds an offer from Colorado and hopes to grow that list with his 2025 season. He is a good blocker and can create space in the play-action game lined up as a wing tight end. He moves well in the run game, able to lead block for the running back. With development in both game experience and size, Elijah will likely be another product of the Glenville system.
