We have just completed the largest update to the Nebraska Class of 2027 rankings, resulting in over 100 new names in our database and a completely revamped rankings list. To cover some of the new players and risers, I will provide positional overviews that offer a quick breakdown of a few players in each group, as well as share any relevant recruiting news on those prospects. Keep an eye out, as we will also be conducting player evaluations, where I will provide a more in-depth game tape breakdown as part of the update coverage.

The next position on the board is the offensive linemen. The 2027 OL group has already started to garner attention with Millard North's [player_tooltip player_id='1085067' first='Matt' last='Erickson'] and Papillion-La Vista's [player_tooltip player_id='1547254' first='Bryce' last='Vigness'] already holding high-level D1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1085067' first='Matt' last='Erickson'] (@MattErickson__) - The Millard North Mustangs pick up a new mauler to spearhead their offensive line this fall in 3-star OT [player_tooltip player_id='1085067' first='Matt' last='Erickson']. Matt was the star for the Wildcats last season, in which he displayed his versatility playing at both left and right tackle. Standing at 6'8" and 290 pounds, Matt is a tower at tackle who also flashed the athleticism to maneuver with ease and a mean streak at the point of attack. So far, Matt has earned offers from Toledo, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Kansas State, but expect that to grow with another strong season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1547254' first='Bryce' last='Vigness'] (@BryceVigness) - Papillion-La Vista's [player_tooltip player_id='1547254' first='Bryce' last='Vigness'] checks in as the top IOL lineman in the 2027 cycle after breaking out as the Monarchs' starting right guard. Bryce was an absolute pancake machine with 42 on the season, using his powerful leg drive, leverage, and strength to force defenders off the line and into the dirt. Good mobility and footwork also stand out on tape. Vigness has already started to turn heads with early D1 offers from South Dakota State and Pitt. The Monarchs are known for producing great offensive linemen, and Bryce looks like he's got next!

[player_tooltip player_id='1699285' first='Parker' last='Brown'] (@Parker_Brown71) - Elkhorn North is another school that has been on a great OL run as well, and we think junior [player_tooltip player_id='1699285' first='Parker' last='Brown'] has the potential to be a highly sought-after prospect. His sophomore tape and upside resulted in a top 20 debut in the latest update. Parker is a lengthy 6'4", 265-pound tackle with room to continue filling out his frame. Brown displays good athleticism and mobility while playing with a road-grader mindset as he moves from one level to the next, picking up blocks along the way. This offense has the potential to be one of the more explosive in Class B!

[player_tooltip player_id='1699284' first='Brett' last='Langan'] (@BrettLangan) - Here's another newcomer who will look to play a key role on a Class B contender. Junior tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1699284' first='Brett' last='Langan'] may have had a small sample size for film, but it packed a punch with his aggressiveness at the point of attack. Langan hits hard and quick coming off the ball and has the power in his base to drive defenders off their spot. Good footwork and proper technique when engaged. Keep a close eye on this rising Badger this fall!

[player_tooltip player_id='1277026' first='Ian' last='Anderson'] (@IanAnde77437848) - Here is another Elkhorn North lineman with the potential to have a big 2025! Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1277026' first='Ian' last='Anderson'] impressed at the PRZ showcase earlier in the spring, where he immediately passed the eye test at 6'4", 250 pounds. Ian also performed well in the positional drills and 1v1s, showing a quick draw of hands and great mobility to adjust and mirror speedy rushers. Anderson's length also allows him to fully extend and jab at defenders before they can. Ian is a bit of a sleeper at the moment, but if he comes out firing, I could see coaches start to look his way.
