An underrated offensive lineman who colleges are going to want to know for the next two seasons is Grafton's [player_tooltip player_id='1616330' first='Abbot' last='Dahl']. Once he fills out his 6'3 frame, Dahl has the potential to be a top offensive line prospect in the 2027 class, with signs of a bright future when you watch his sophomore tape. Footwork and physicality are already apparent in Dahl's game and are the two top traits you notice first on film. He'll likely be a future stock riser in our rankings once we see his progression in his junior and senior film.

Former Liberty-Harrison QB [player_tooltip player_id='1154702' first='Isaiah' last='Heflin'] has placed in our rankings in the past, but had a brief hiatus as we waited for updated film. He'll now head to Robert C. Byrd after consolidation closed his former school, and he should be right in the mix to be their starting quarterback. Heflin has ATH potential as well, if he doesn't start behind center, and is a quality overall athlete who is versatile in what position he plays. He has the size and athleticism to get college looks regardless of what position he projects at the next level and will be a great addition to the Eagles' program over the next two seasons.

No game film to evaluate from 2027 Preston OL [player_tooltip player_id='897595' first='Max' last='Huggins'], but we got to see him in person twice this summer, and he is a name to know in the class. Huggins has good size that will catch college attention, and should develop nicely for the Knights by his senior year. The 6'2 290 big man is still very much raw in a lot of areas, but is putting in the work to improve and will pay off in time. Once his technique and agility improve, Huggins will transform into a much different player in the future and is a name to keep tabs on over time.

Capital will be adding to their already deep and talented defensive back group with 2027 George Washington transfer DJ Spenver this season. He rounds out our 2027 defensive back Top 10 ranking and is someone who has the potential to climb higher in the future once he gets more varsity opportunities. You can see the vision of what he can become in his JV and varsity spot duty sophomore tape from last season, especially once he adds more size to his frame. Spencer is a plus athlete with the speed, quickness, and fluidity to develop into a future lockdown corner for the Cougars, which we should see some evidence of as a junior this season.

Nitro has a loaded linebacker group returning in 2025, but an underrated prospect among them is 2027 LB [player_tooltip player_id='1143873' first='Aiden' last='Preston']. He can play EDGE for them as an athletic pass rusher who can also drop in coverage and be strong in run defense as well. That versatility will allow Preston to start in some capacity for the Wildcats as the type of athlete that can be plugged in at a few different positions and alignments. Preston offers a lot of value as a prospect and could surge up the rankings in the future with a strong junior and senior season.

Another 2027 prospect who was in our rankings in the past and comes off the Watch List heading into his junior year is Wheeling Central DL [player_tooltip player_id='1155194' first='Dominic' last='Paesani']. He's been a productive player for the Knights since he was a freshman as a two-way lineman who will shine on both sides of the line. Paesani projects best as an interior defensive lineman given his size, and could earn scholarship opportunities at that position in the future. He's a strong, powerful athlete with quality athleticism that he displays on both sides of the line.
