2027 QB Isaiah Heflin brings plenty of experience into the WV Exposure Series after producing as a dual-threat QB at Robert C. Byrd for the past three seasons. The athletic ability is already well established, but this camp will provide a valuable opportunity to get a closer look at the arm talent and overall passing ability in a competitive setting. Heflin should also be one of the more interesting QBs to watch during testing because the movement skills are obvious. There’s potential for him to eventually project as more than just a QB at the next level, depending on how his development continues. If Heflin throws the ball well and tests the way many expect, he could leave camp with a lot more attention surrounding his future upside.

It’ll be a tall task, but Heflin can keep things interesting for a while with his dual-threat ability if he can take care of the ball and manage the game well.

Isaiah Heflin Isaiah Heflin 6'0" | 212 lbs | QB Robert C. Byrd | 2027 State WV is a good athlete playing quarterback for the Liberty-Harrison Mountaineers who hurt defenses with his arm and his legs as a freshman varsity starter. He may one day be ranked as an ATH depending on how he develops as a passer and the athleticism to play multiple positions which gives him options on where he can play. Helfin produced a very good freshman campaign as a QB and DB and earned All-Big 10 honors as a defensive backing his first year at the high school level. He has great scrambling ability and is a threat to take off and run on any given play which makes him tough to defend against. Heflin can execute QB-designed runs and has the speed and quickness to bust open a big play with his legs. He’s still developing as a passer but has the potential to steadily improve in that area over time to make him a more complete quarterback prospect.

Liberty-Harrison will be merging with Robert C. Byrd after this school year so it will be interesting to watch where Heflin ends up in the future and the role he plays on his new team in time.
