2027 PPZPA Rankings Update: Which Quarterbacks Raised Their Rank?

<span style="font-weight: 400">The 2027 Rankings were posted just hours ago! Our staff has plenty of analysis on the way to complement the release!</span> <span style="font-weight: 400">Below is a simple look at the names of players who moved up the ranks due to advancement in their skill-set, size, and overall performance:</span> <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1282115' first='Jack' last='Drakeley'] | QB | Archbishop Wood</strong> <ul> <li>On our Watch List for consecutive updates prior to this past weekend's drop. I'll get the obvious out of the way, I'm a broken record at this point, Archbishop Wood's [player_tooltip player_id='1282115' first='Jack' last='Drakeley'] has to put out tape as an incoming junior. He will in time, I have a good feeling said tape is going to impress out of the gate. Thanks to extensive looks at Drakeley throughout the years, I'm willing to call my shot on him. Yes, the current ranking is a projection, yet I feel comfortable placing him among the classes best. 4.9 GPA, verified 6'3, 190 pounds. Big time leap up our ranks.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='914946' first='Mikal' last='Shank Jr.'] | QB | Harrisburg</strong> <ul> <li>Everything said above can be reciprocated in regards to Harrisburg's Mikal Shank. Shank has to get film out for this rank to stand, said tape will come in time. I've talked to several coaches about the young man, whether it be at PRZ events or neighboring events that host Shank Jr.. Most, if not all, come away impressed and intrigued. Again, I'm calling my shot here with Shank being a pre-season Top 100 2027 prospect. We'll see if I'm right.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='953082' first='Jaydon' last='Oliver'] | QB | Armstrong</strong></li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1430894' first='Moses' last='Bruno'] | QB | Academy Of The New Church</strong></li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='913495' first='Aaron' last='Pegues'] | QB | Farrell</strong> <ul> <li>I have a feeling that, despite the jump in rank, I still might be severely underestimating this young man. Would love to personally verify his measurables, would go a long way in terms of being sure he can handle Division One football. As far as everything else goes, the tape, the accuracy, I can see why Akron decided to offer Pegues this past June. I'm fully expecting Pegues to perform with something to prove this upcoming Fall. Pegues raised nearly 200+ spots on our ranks since the January 2027 update.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='419266' first='Sebastian' last='Williams'] | QB | Bishop McDevitt</strong> <ul> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='419266' first='Sebastian' last='Williams'], now a junior at McDevitt, comes off our Watchlist for the first time, debuting relatively well. PA HS legend Stone Saunders was at the helm for McDevitt, so I can't fault Williams' lack of tape as I would others on our lists. That being said, I know little to nothing about him personally. I know he's talented, I know what coaches around him have told me, pretty much nothing but good things. Would love to learn if his measurables hold true. Many of the questions I have will be answered in a matter of months. I value the opinions of some closest to him who rave about his potential. I'm willing to put him inside our Top 200 for now.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1180732' first='Colton' last='Sams'] | QB | Southern Lehigh</strong></li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1575870' first='Weston' last='Yannone'] | QB/ATH | Dunmore H.S</strong></li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1083270' first='Garrett' last='McCracken'] | QB | Kennett</strong> <ul> <li>Thanks to several good showings in person this offseason, coupled with fantastic tape from this past Fall, I now feel comfortable placing Kennett's [player_tooltip player_id='1083270' first='Garrett' last='McCracken'] beside some of the more promising signal callers repping 2027 PA. Excited to see what he has in store for us evaluators this coming Fall. How high can McCracken elevate his recruiting ceiling?</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1624048' first='Josiah' last='Everett'] | QB | West Catholic</strong> <ul> <li>Put together a spectacular showing at our most recent PRZ PA event held back in mid-May. I've seen enough from West Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1624048' first='Josiah' last='Everett'], enough to call him a quality PCL passer. His rank is likely to fluctuate thanks to his size, yet I feel comfortable saying this is a young man worth recruiting.
