It's been fun diving into the Class of 2028. This class is starting to come together, and some of the potential top guys are beginning to emerge. Last update, we had 14 ranked prospects. Now, we've got north of 120 ranked. A little under half of those ranked players were previously on our Watch List. Here are my quick thoughts on five more players who've earned a ranking from the Watch List!

He's one of the few guys in this class who shows elite offensive versatility. Kingston is a threat to score at all areas of the field. Lining up wide, Kingston is fast enough to consistently get open deep downfield. In the wildcat, Kingston is a great improviser, able to find space in designed runs, scramble on designed passes, or find an open receiver on the run.

This is someone who can be a game-breaker at the Varsity level. I love Kingston's athletic traits, and I love the effort he brings to the field. A very earned ranking after being on the Watch List!

You've got to be an extremely promising player to earn Varsity time as a Freshman at Fordson. Ali's tape is highly promising for a few key reasons.

First, Ali has some of the best contact balance of anyone in this class. His ability to run through tackles without sacrificing much speed allows him to hit far more home runs than most. Second, I like Ali's vision and overall athletic profile. He's well on his way to being a great college prospect. True D1 potential, and a D2 floor.

Matthews Tape

I like Matthews' trajectory. Standing at 6'0" 205, this is a Quarterback with true dual-threat upside at the high school level. His freshman season tape shows a willingness to run the ball and flashes some ability as a pocket passer.

I like Matthews' running style. He isn't too flashy, and normally stays true to the structure of the play. Follows his blocks, runs north-south, and does his best to run through arm tackles. This kind of efficiency will translate well into higher levels of competition.

Aerrion is still developing as a passer. His mechanics are coming along, and his offseason work looks a bit better than his fall tape. Same with accuracy- a great foundation. Aerrion has absolutely earned a ranking, and I'm incredibly excited to see how he develops in the coming years.

Watch out for [player_tooltip player_id='1398348' first='Kross' last='Berisha'].

He's earned a very favorable ranking thanks to a promising highlight tape and phenomenal testing numbers.

Berisha's tape is filled with promising highlights on both sides of the ball. Offensively, I'm most impressed with his blocking. He's not afraid to get his nose dirty in the trenches. Super important for a Tight End, especially in the Catholic League. Defensively, he's a bit more raw, but still shows promise on the defensive line.

As mentioned above, Kross has a great athletic profile. Verified 30.75-inch vertical, 105-inch broad jump, and 4.7 shuttle are all highly promising numbers. Keep up consistent work on the field and in the weight room over the next year, and he'll be an incredible Varsity player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1618168' first='Andrew' last='Rivera'] had a phenomenal freshman campaign. Spending time at Slot, KR, and RB, Rivera demonstrated an ability to do damage at all areas of the field.

At running back, I love Rivera's vision. There's moments in Rivera's tape where the play breaks down, and he's able to find a small opening, change course, and accelerate upfield. On top of that, he sports above-average contact balance, another thing that will serve him well at the Varsity level. As expected, his kick return highlights play off his RB clips. Andrew has a knack for finding an opening and accellerating through that opening. Great potential as a Varsity kick returner.

Lastly, Andrew has a small handful of SLWR highlights. I like how his athletic profile translates to receiver, but it's too small of a sample size for me to judge his route running or hands.

I'm very high on Rivera. I expect him to show major improvements this season.
