Michigan Made College Night Stock Risers

From the agility drills to competition, he impressed. He possesses some of the best change of direction and fluid movement I have seen, and shines on either side of the ball. As a receiver, he runs detailed routes and does a great job of tracking the ball. Defensively, he does a great job getting leverage and adjusting to the throw to contest anything thrown his way. Whether it's in the pocket or throwing on the run, Brock showed consistent velocity on his balls and solid accuracy. I really like his footwork on every drop. He doesn't get off balance, keeps a wide base and drives the ball to his target. You can already see the physical potential, and as he continues to fill out, he will only be more appealing. I absolutely love his potential on either side of the ball. As a receiver, he runs great routes, especially downfield, and has late hands that are reliable. Defensively, he backpedals and changes direction easily, and with his solid frame and lanky arms, he is able to get his hands in the way and cause havoc. Pairing him with those other weapons at Bay City John Glenn is going to be an absolute problem this fall! He passes the eye test physically, with good height and solid frame. He throws with good velocity, and has done a ton of work with his mechanics. When he gets out and moves, his velocity and accuracy don't take a hit at all. Still rips it and hits his guys on the run. He has shown flashes of leadership and leading by example this offseason, and every interaction I have had with him is extremely genuine. This kid loves the game and has been soaking up every second of coaching he can. During the agility and speed drills, he was one of the most impressive performers, as expected, but when the competition portion began, he absolutely elevated his game. He has elite speed and agility. Super twitchy athlete with insane acceleration. Beyond that, he also flashes superb concentration and reliable hands. He walked off the field with the catch of the night, one handed between multiple defenders. He had multiple other great reps where he found the soft spot in the zone and sat down, giving his QB an easy completion. He has become a strong and reliable target with the ability to draw the attention of the defense regardless of where he lines up. There were a few times throughout the night where the ball was just tossed up his way, and he showed great body control to adjust to the ball and still come down with the catch, typically finishing through contact. He runs clean routes, and does a great job of not tipping off his route too early. He showed that he could be extremely twitchy, or get physical if need be. He had one of the smoothest releases, and consistently won reps with great route running and the ability to use late hands. I think he has plenty of upside defensively as well, with the speed and length to be an extremely impactful DB. The Freeland QB showed his arm talent, hitting throws to every part of the field. Whether it was a quick out or deep shot to the end zone, the spiral was consistent and he was on target every time. His footwork was clean, and he scanned the field quickly and made confident decisions. He moved well and was able to make some tough throws on the run as well, while still being accurate. The arm strength and ability to read the defense along make him a very high upside prospect.
