Film Study: Section 6 2026 QB's

Throughout the summer, we will be looking at the 2026, 2027, 2028 NY recruiting classes. While stats show numbers, film shows the entire story. For this series we will be looking at 30 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. In this edition of QB Film Study we will breakdown five Quarterbacks hailing from Section Six.    Standing at 6'0 185-pounds, he has a solid build for the QB position. Harris Jr will transfer to Health Sciences Charter in Buffalo for his Senior season.   Harris Jr has a cannon and loves tossing the ball down the field for big gains. His ball placement is solid and allows his WR to rack in the catch on each rep. He has a solid medium and short game as the ball Is placed with accuracy on most throws. He has a solid touch and an adequate IQ. He can use his legs to escape pressure and create plays down the field. A true pass first QB.   I am excited to see his Senior season as he joins a new team and expect him to continue to improve in his traits.      Gibbs had a solid Junior season tossing 28 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards. The 6'0 185 pound QB has a solid build for the position.   Gibbs is gifted with elite arm strength. The Chautauqua QB can toss the ball a good 40+ yards down the field. To pair with this strength his ball placement is elite. He understands a defense and can carve through zone and man coverage with accurate timed strikes. He feels pressure well and can use his legs to create plays down the field or run for solid gains.   Gibbs biggest strength is his arm which is on full display in his film. He has pure raw talent which will allow him to continue to rise up the rankings.      Playing at a class D school he flies under the radar as a prospect. The 6'4 185 pound QB has a solid frame for the QB position. He is a two-sport athlete who also plays Baseball.   Capozzi has a solid deep ball which is on display in his film. His ball comes with solid placement. He is a shifty QB who is extremely hard to tackle and uses his elite IQ to move around the pocket and keep his head downfield in an attempt to create plays.   Carter had a solid Junior season with little improvement needed in aspects like footwork and mechanics, he can easily be a top QB in Section Six.      Standing at 5'10" 175 pounds, Waring has an average size for the QB position. The Eden/North Collins QB is coming off an impressive season tossing twenty-five touchdowns and only five interceptions.   Waring has a solid deep ball combined with elite ball placement. He can hit all three levels of the field with good accuracy and excels with farther throws. He is a Patrick Mahomes like playmaker who can run around for ages until he finds and open receiver. He has solid legs and can escape the pocket and move his team down the field.   A true pass first playmaker, Waring is one of the more impressive QB's in Section Six to watch and should have an impressive Senior Season.      Standing at 6'3" 210 pounds, the Newfane QB an elite build for the position. He is a physical athlete who also plays on Special Teams for Newfane.   Capen is an athletic QB who excels in an Option/RPO system. He has elite speed and can make defenders miss with ease. Despite his running ability, he can stand tall in the pocket and deliver accurate strikes across the field with ease. He waits for plays to develop and has an adequate IQ at the position.   Capen is an intriguing prospect to watch and has enjoyable film to pair with his skills. He is a true athlete who fits in at the QB position.
