Film Study: Catholic AAA 2026 WR’s

For this series we will be looking at 20 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. As a receiver, he absorbs contact and does not shy away from contact. He has good hands and excels at 50/50 balls against DB's. In motion he is a deadly threat, allowing him to start on the run increases his chances of making a big time play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is a solid prospect who can play both positions. The WR stands at 6'3" 190 pounds showcasing a great build for the position. He is a two sport athlete who also plays basketball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wolf displays excellent body control while making challenging catches and showcases an elite ability to control his feet towards the sidelines. He is a threat after the catch as he has a unique tool bag of moves used to escape tackles. His speed is one of those tools as it seems if you blink you will lose Wolf in coverage. He has solid routes and good COD.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wolf is an outstanding prospect at the WR position. Standing at 5'10" 175 pounds, Russo has a solid build for the position. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Since his Sophomore campaign, Russo has solidified himself has a constant contributor for St Anthony's. He hauled in five touchdowns in his Junior season and will see his number called more this fall. He excels in creating separation and finds himself open on almost all his catches. He has solid speed paired with good hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Russo is an extremely reliable receiver who flies under the radar. A guy who isn't flashy but contributes nonstop. He has great tracking and keeps his eyes on the ball at all times. He is a tough to stop competitor given his frame and rarely is tackle on the first try. He has a 5'9" 165 pound build which is traditionally undersized for the position but he turns his frame into a big strength. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He demonstrates an impressive skill set in making tough, contested catches, highlighting his strength at the catch point and showcasing outstanding vision through his catches.
