Top Passers at SBU prospect camp

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Southwest Baptist University put on such a great prospect camp on May 1st there was no shortage of talent in Bolivar Missouri. I really enjoyed my time there and would like to commend the athletes and coaching staff with putting on a great camp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's jump into these six signal callers that really showed out at this camp. Standing at 6'3 and weighing 175 pounds, Steffen is the prototypical quarterback size. He also possesses a college level arm that impressed everyone in attendance at the SBU camp. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When Steffen is dialed in, he did not allow the ball to hit the turf, he routinely dropped the pigskin right in the pocket. Blessed with having almost perfect throwing form/motion, when Elam loads up and lets the ball loose the football jumps off of his right hand.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On top of having a college level arm Beaman also tested very well in all mobile events which shows that he can make a lot of plays outside of the pocket. Cerrano is poised to take the reins at Timberland high school for his senior season and I'm excited to see what he has to offer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cerrano tested towards the top of every event he participated in, he is a very good athlete at the quarterback position. Daylen really caught my eye by just testing extremely high in every event put on at this camp. Athletically Austin-Harvey can do about everything on the football field, he just so happens to throw the football extremely well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Don't let his size deter you from this prospect he is only an incoming Sophomore and growing into his body. You can tell Daylen just loves the game of football with a super competitive edge to him he is really coming into his own. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Daylen went into the throwing sessions ready to prove himself to his older counterparts and really held his own. Daylen throws a pretty tight spiral with good accuracy from the pocket. We have the opportunity to see three more years of Austin-Harvey develop into a complete quarterback. He is a very big quarterback prospect that can really spin the football. He really started to separate himself when it was time to throw routes and 1-on-1's. You can just see that the football gets into the receiver's arm's faster than the other Qb's in attendance. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brody is only a sophomore and is already one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Missouri.
