is one of the top overall returning players in the entire state. On defense, he plays in a strong safety/outside linebacker role where he is very reliable against the run. Jacob does a great job of reading the play then coming downhill in a hurry to get to the ball carrier and make the tackle before they can get going. He finished this past season with 45 tackles. Eberhart has also shown the ability to make plays against the pass, finishing his junior year with three interceptions and a sack. On offense, Jacob is a big play threat at receiver, finishing his junior season with 42 receptions for 795 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also scored one rushing touchdown this past season. Eberhart has narrowed his potential schools down to his top seven which includes Illinois, Oklahoma, Oregon, Nebraska, Alabama, Missouri, and LSU, and I expect him to make a big impact wherever he ends up playing at the next level.
