During a season with more downs than ups for Lincoln, Jenkins was a bright spot as a sophomore in 2024. He caught 14 balls (third most on the team) for 112 yards and a touchdown. Jenkins' 10th-grade highlight video reveals a prospect capable of taking a big step forward this coming campaign. Corralling him in space is a chore with his quick cuts and burst. Jenkins also shows he can break tackles during his film session. With another offseason of physical and mental development, Jenkins is poised to take another step forward.

I scouted Malik in person during the Back 2 Ballin 7-on-7 tournament at the UNI-Dome this spring. He stood out for his athleticism and quickness in space. Malik proved to be a versatile contributor as a sophomore last year, when he contributed in all three phases. On his 10th-grade highlight video, Malik displays a natural feel for running the ball. He flows with the play, finding ways to make defenders miss. Malik will stick his foot in the ground and change directions on a dime. From what I saw in Cedar Falls, he has good instincts and the skill set to shine as a defensive back, too.

Bisgard served notice as a sophomore last season that bigger accomplishments were well within reach. He laid a sound foundation with 373 yards and eight touchdowns rushing to go with 22 receptions for 262 yards and a pair of scores. On defense, Bisgard collected 29.5 tackles (19 solo) with a sack and an interception. The versatile performer impresses during this 10th-grade highlight video. Bisgard bursts through the defense with acceleration and sharp cutting. He can run around, by and over defenders, and keeps churning his legs until his knee hits the ground.

Footage of Cochran playing football is limited compared to his wrestling tape, but there are some clips residing on his Hudl page. Operating on the sophomore squad in 2024, Cochran flashed potential that will be welcomed for a program looking to replace talented graduates. In him, they have an athletic defender that will to lower the boom on the opposition. The footwork and advantages gained when utilizing his hands translates from the mat to the field. Cochran breaks well on the ball and overall gets downhill in a hurry.

When you pop on Hofstra's sophomore highlight video, you would not think he's a 10th-grader without knowing. He's big and physical, pushing around older opponents. It led to 29.5 tackles (22 solo), a sack and a fumble recovery. He's quick off of the snap and sheds blocks regularly. Ironically, he also excels at snapping the ball to the quarterback or on special teams. As a center, he shows he can complete the assignment whether his team is rushing the ball or throwing it.

Competing in the trenches as a sophomore on the 5A varsity level isn't easy, but it's something Winter can say he did and did well. You can witness the performance on his 10th-grade highlight video. Winter is an intriguing combination of power and athleticism. He'll blow a defender up in close quarters or pick them him off in space. He's strong already, so with another offseason of training, it could get dangerous for the opponent in 2025 and beyond. The chances of Northwest climbing up the ladder in the large-school division this fall would be greatly aided by Winter breaking out, which seems well within reach.
