It's quite a notion for a receiver from the 8-man league earn the #1 ranking spot at his position, but [player_tooltip player_id='1197458' first='Landon' last='Blum'] has shined so spectacularly since entering the lineup in 2023 that he deservingly earns that title. Blum amassed over 1000 receiving yards for the first time last season, catching 60 passes for 1049 yards (17.5 YPC) and a state-high 24 TDs. A big-bodied freakish athlete from a small-school, Blum holds the speed, length, strength, physicality, and overall game sense that matches that of D1-caliber talents, and he has been absolutely unstoppable to cover in the league. Having garnered national attention for his performance, the 4-star prospect just recently committed to Penn State, and he'll look to round off his high school career with a state championship after coming 2 points shy in the state title game in 2025.

Tanner Troendle emerged as the No. 1 WR for the Hawks in his junior season, accounting for over half of the team's total passing yards from 2025. Troendle finished with 760 yards on 38 receptions (20 YPC) and 12 TDs. A versatile receiver who can play outside, in the slot, and as a wing, Troendle has been by far the most reliable target for newcomer [player_tooltip player_id='2152745' first='Trey' last='Cota'], utilizing strong hands, and proving slippery to tackle, making him dangerous after the catch with how many yards he's able to rack up. Troendle has formed a strong bond with Cota's dynamic style, and it should remain to be at the forefront of the Hawks' offense as they continue looking to improve their stance in the 8-man conference in 2026.

AJ Clarke boasts an impressive lanky frame with a long wingspan, making him a premier mismatch against his competition in 1-on-1 situations. Clarke finished with 597 yards on 34 catches (17.6 YPC) and accounting for 8 of the Mustangs' 10 total TDs over the air in 2025. Clarke boasts strong hands and catches well through contact, but it's his ability to get the ball over the defender's head with ease that always makes it dangerous when the ball is thrown up for grabs. Clarke also boasts a sneaky amount of speed, accelerating quickly after the catch, and showing that he can break away from the secondary with enough open-field space. There is no doubt that Clarke will continue to garner a significant amount of targets heading his way as the centerpiece of Murray's passing game.

A standout multi-sport athlete for the Warriors, McCulloch has also been easily one of the best overall players on the gridiron for a struggling HLV unit. McCulloch finished with 552 yards and 7 TDs on just 23 catches (24 YPC). There is a clear difference watching McCulloch on the field catching passes, proving to be dynamic and blisteringly fast, being able to break away easily for a huge play with just a little bit of separation. As the passing game for the Warriors undergoes a shakeup in 2026, there is no doubt that McCulloch will be at the center of whatever plans that HLV will have for their offense in 2026.

As the passing game took big steps forward in 2025, so did [player_tooltip player_id='1871153' first='Cole' last='Green']'s role as a premium target for the Warriors' offense. Green finished 2nd on the team with 566 yards on 48 receptions and 7 TDs. Green's bigger frame makes him a mismatch in the slot, playing often as an off-tackle WR/TE hybrid for their offense, and proving most dangerous with his wheel route, possessing the size to break away from tackle attempts by DBs and proving too quick for LBs. Green is an intriguing tweener prospect who is due to step up as the Warriors' primary target in the passing game in 2026.

Only 4 receivers recorded a catch last season for the Wolves, with the leading receiver among that limited group being Tayson Samuels. Samuels had a modest breakout season, finishing with 615 yards on 53 catches and 3 TDs. A reliable outside receiver who overcomes his size with impressive speed, sharp route-running, and great hands who's capable of breaking behind the secondary for a big play down the field, setting up his offense for points with his consistency. Samuels will look to translate more of his catches into TDs as he enters his senior campaign.

While listed as QB/DB, [player_tooltip player_id='2117356' first='Michael' last='Joyce'] made a significant impact as the top target for [player_tooltip player_id='1242287' first='Tate' last='Foertsch'] as Bishop Garrigan ran off with the 8-man league title on a perfect record. Joyce finished with 494 receiving yards on 29 receptions (17 YPC) and 8 TDs. Proving to be a stellar all-purpose threat, Joyce added 5 INTs on defense as well as 2 kick return TDs on special teams. Utilizing his unique athleticism, speed, and playmaking ability well on offense, Joyce was able to find himself getting open often down the sidelines, proving to stretch the field and very much capable of taking it to the house whenever the ball is in his hands. Joyce's usage may change with the change at QB in 2026, though one way or another, Joyce should remain a premier playmaker for the Golden Bears at all three phases of the game.

English Valleys enjoyed a solid turnaround after winning just 1 game in 2024 as the passing game took multiple steps forward, thanks in part to the rise of Everett Bender as the Bears' No. 1 WR. Bender finished with 456 receiving yards on 21 receptions (21.7 YPC) and 8 TDs. A speedy outside receiver, Bender could benefit greatly with some bulk to hold his ground against stronger outside CBs, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in the sheer deep threat ability, and when he gets behind the secondary and catches it in stride, it's too late to stop him. A change at QB in 2026 will be interesting for the Bears' offense, but Bender should remain at the forefront of that unit, maintaining a large share of targets headed his way in his senior campaign.
