Recruiting Report (6/15)- Newest Commitments Across the State

As we head further into the offseason, the recruiting world only keeps moving.   Today, we are highlighting some of the newest commitments across the state! These guys are so deserving and have such bright futures ahead, so we're diving into where's next for them.   As always, check out their tape below- we have so much talent here in Alabama, you won't want to miss these prospects before they're off to the next level!    [player_tooltip player_id='283568' first='Elijah' last='Peake'] is a dominant DL out of Wetumpka who really caught our eye earlier this offseason.   "At 6'2 295, Peake plays with a ton of speed and agility at his size, flying around the field to come up with huge stops against the run and pass. Peake is a problem against the run- he gets great penetration on the line of scrimmage, can fight off blockers, and is an excellent tackler who doesn't allow for any extra yards after making first contact.   Peake is also productive against the pass- he provides terrific interior pressure and can collapse the pocket almost entirely on his own. What impressed me most about Peake's film was his motor and the effort he plays with, he doesn't quit on plays and works as hard as possible to come up with stops, no matter where he initially lined up pre-snap."   Peake had a huge year last fall, recording 101 total tackles (57 solo, 44 assisted, 18 for loss), 9 sacks, and one FR.   A few days back, Peake committed to Western Kentucky! He has a bright future ahead of him this fall and onto the next level; it's going to be exciting to watch.   Watch some of Peake's tape below:      Delvecchio "Deuce" Alston II is an explosive RB out of Hewitt-Trussville who dropped some big news on us yesterday.   “At 6'0 180, Alston is explosive out of the backfield- he does a great job waiting for blocks to develop and has the acceleration and elusiveness to quickly turn upfield, make defenders miss, and rack up big plays on the ground. Alston is highly elusive, but also has great contact balance- he can play through defenders and constantly finds ways to shed off away tacklers.   Alston is just as productive on passing downs- he's a consistent option for his quarterback underneath who quickly finds ways to get open and has a reliable set of hands."   Alston made a ton of plays last fall, ending his junior season with 97 carries for 670 yards and 8 TDs on the ground and 13 receptions for 127 yards through the air.   Yesterday, Alston announced he'd committed to Kentucky! I'm excited to watch him play out his senior year this fall- he's consistently been one of our top backs in the class since his first year.   Check out some of what Alston can do below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1603657' first='Keivay' last='Foster'] is a dominant S out of Muscle Shoals who gained a ton of traction on the recruiting trail earlier this offseason.   "At 6'4 180, Foster has great size and is so reliable over the top for his defense at FS- he doesn't allow for any big gains downfield, has great ball skills, and does a great job tracking and baiting quarterbacks into bad decisions.   Foster plays with a ton of speed and instincts to quickly cover ground from sideline to sideline and come away with interceptions, tackles, and other game-changing plays. Foster is a ball hawk- consistently coming away with some huge interceptions and returns for his team, it's really impressive to watch."   A few days ago, Foster announced he'd committed to Arkansas! They're getting a talented S in their 2026 class- it'll be fun watching him over the next few years.   Check out some of Foster's film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1355851' first='Marquez' last='Daniel'] is a dominant pass catcher out of Booker T Washington who ended up committing late last week.   “At 6'6 190, Daniel is a massive target and uses his size to his advantage to bully smaller defensive backs- frequently on tape, you'll find him high-pointing receptions over the tops of DBs in the endzone, leading to some impressive highlights. Daniel plays with a ton of speed at his size and can really stretch the field. He isn't limited to shorter routes and can make splash plays downfield and after the catch, certifying his versatility at the position.   As for his hands, Daniel is incredibly reliable. He does a great job using his hands to secure passes away from his body, has impressive body control, and can haul in tough-to-catch passes along the sideline, through contact, and across the middle of the field.“   Daniel was incredibly productive out wide last fall, ending the season with 38 receptions for 757 yards and 12 TDs.    Last Saturday, Daniel announced on Twitter he'd committed to Florida! I think he's set up for a great career at the next level- he has a ton of talent and potential that'll take him far both this season and in the future.   Daniel has some awesome tape you can watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1212638' first='Edrick' last='Williams'] is a dominant DB out of Daphne who announced some big news last weekend.   “Williams is dominant at safety and every down playmaker who flies around the field to provide terrific coverage and run support. Williams plays with a ton of speed and can easily cover lots of ground to make some impressive plays.   Williams really impresses me with how well he plays single high. He's patient, tracks the ball, and never lets anybody get behind him for explosive plays. Williams is also reliable against the run- he consistently flies downhill to fight off blocks and wraps up the ball carrier down near the line of scrimmage for little to no gain.”   Williams announced last Saturday he'd committed to Louisiana!
