“At 6’2 295, Peake plays with a ton of speed and agility at his size, flying around the field to come up with huge stops against the run and pass. Peake is a problem against the run- he gets great penetration on the line of scrimmage, can fight off blockers, and is an excellent tackler who doesn’t allow for any extra yards after making first contact.

Peake is also productive against the pass- he provides terrific interior pressure and can collapse the pocket almost entirely on his own. What impressed me most about Peake’s film was his motor and the effort he plays with, he doesn’t quit on plays and works as hard as possible to come up with stops, no matter where he initially lined up pre-snap.“

Peake had a huge year last fall, recording 101 total tackles (57 solo, 44 assisted, 18 for loss), 9 sacks, and one FR.

It’s my first look at emerging DT prospect Elijah Peake Elijah Peake 6'2" | 295 lbs | DL Wetumpka | 2026 State AL , who has tacked on several FBS offers this offseason, and I expect that list to grow. Short, stout, strong frame and a clear IDL projection who plays a few different shades on tape. He has elite play strength and is a wrecker at the point of attack. He instantly knocks blockers backwards and threatens the integrity of the offensive front. He can play the role of plugger, but is also a prolific pass rusher from the interior. He flashes a hot motor getting after the QB and has functional athleticism for his size. Peake threw the discus 86′ 07” this spring.
