EDINA- We took our talents to the Pro MN Athletics Camp on Saturday in Edina and got a bunch of live evals of the 50+ athletes in attendance. They always say "it all starts up front," so we start our content series today with who were my favorite OL/DL standouts from Saturday.

The first offensive linemen that caught my attention on Saturday came from nearby my neck the woods in Zimmerman 2028 offensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1683376' first='Carson' last='Stay']. The 6'2 240 pounder was impressive with his athletic movement in the early reps, showing a ton of fluidity and instinctiveness with his first step. He showed off an impressive base for his age with a long reach that my gut tells me will get longer over-time as Carson wasted no time getting his hands up and showed off more agile quickness with that upper body. He surely is one to watch out of Zimmerman in the coming years

Let's just say it was a good day in the trenches if Carson was your first name, as [player_tooltip player_id='1288296' first='Carson' last='Pruett'] of Princeton was one in my eyes that was one of the most technically sound defensive ends at the Pro MN Athletics Camp in Edina on Saturday. If you wanted to see the most fiery hands in the group, Carson showed that off persistently also adding more groomed pad-level which shows you the blue-collar work ethic this young man has at his disposal. The amount of control Carson gathered with his hands was impressive as a 2027 prospect that in my eyes looks like an early offer target in this class.

James was another one that was in my top-tier in the trenches from my notebook, as I loved getting a glimpse of this young man's attention to detail in every rep I watched out of him. I felt if we are talking about quick development, James was one of the fastest growing prospects from start to finish at the Pro MN Athletics Camp, as during the live reps James showed off his tightness with his angles getting off blocks and sealing off his defender he went up against. The 2027 LB/DE hybrid out of Minnetonka, has now popped out at two camps I have been to this month, showing off to me as a stockriser. Twitter

Tyson is yet another DL prospect this time in the 2028 class that has continued to make waves this spring/summer with his performances at camps as he was one of several Rogers Royals that caught our attention on Saturday in Edina. Based on the reps I watched out of Tyson on Saturday, I can tell since our April Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase that this young man is developing swiftly especially with his athletcism. Tyson showed off a strong burst with his downhill presence in the reps I watched on Saturday and I could tell was relishing the attention to detail from coaching as last reps looked more instinctive than his first reps. I feel I have said it all Spring, Tyson is one to watch for out of Rogers in this 2028 class. Twitter

Billy was an offensive linemen in the 2027 class that caught my attention at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase and this Saturday too at the Pro MN Athletics Camp in Edina. He was one of the more polished offensive linemen in his class on Saturday in my eyes, with solid strength and leverage at the point of attack. I feel college coaches will like the position flexibility this young man offers on both sides of the ball in the trenches as Billy on tape shows off excellent short area vision and those same bouldering hands we saw in the live eval on Saturday. A NW Minnesota 2027 to watch that has done a great job at getting himself out there at camps already this spring.

Jacob was another offensive linemen that finished in my top-tier amongst the OL group during the live eval at the Pro MN Athletics Camp in Edina on Saturday. Jacob showed off one of the most intriguing bases in the offensive line group with good fluidity in his steps with his footwork and developing stance that I can tell has gotten more polished this Spring during early camp season. I love the way this kid finishes his blocks on tape, as even though on Saturday it wasn't padded, Jacob showed off the drive-blocking ability that shows proficency getting to the second level. Jacob also showed off impressive character in my eyes as one you can tell has a team-first mentality to keep bringing into his upcoming junior year.

One of the most physically imposing offensive linemen from the eye-test on Saturday at the Pro MN Athletic Camp in the trenches was St. Louis Park's [player_tooltip player_id='1665762' first='Bennett' last='Johnson'], who at 6'5 265 pounds he looked as advertised with his measurables. I can tell there was some upside with his pad-level during the reps I watched as an offensive linement that has the drive, but his technique is still brewing. He showed better footwork off the snap than what I caught on tape, which is intriguing from a growth perspective since last fall. Bennett surely is one that is raw at the moment, but the progressions have been seen as I love this kid's ceiling.
