The top quarterback in attendance at the Concord Prospect Camp, in my eyes, was 2026 Powhatan (VA) QB [player_tooltip player_id='1297799' first='Elliott' last='Murphy']. That's no surprise given how high our Virginia site is on Murphy, ranking him as the #7 quarterback prospect in the 2026 class. Murphy looked excellent throwing on air, hitting his receiver in stride and on time with accurate ball placement for an easy catch. Murphy has a smooth delivery in his throwing mechanics, throwing a tight spiral with a high release point. He continued his stellar day during 1-on-1s, putting the ball where it needed to be in every rep that I caught on video, and was excellent on throws to the sideline. Murphy was rewarded with an offer from the host Mountain Lions, to no one's surprise.

Murphy wasn't the only quarterback at the Concord Prospect Camp who went home with an offer, as 2026 Lincoln County (TN) QB Maddox Franklin also secured one. Franklin was mechanically sound in both his upper and lower body, which translated to accurate throws throughout the camp. He impressed on the more difficult throws to the sideline, putting the ball where it needed to be on time with good placement for his receiver to make a play comfortably. Arm strength was also apparent in his skill set, as he fired with velocity and proved he could air it out down the field, too.

2026 Doddridge County QB [player_tooltip player_id='867726' first='Brysen' last='Dixon'] is always a steady and consistent performer at every camp I see him at. He's someone I've been able to watch grow both physically and developmentally over the past two years. Seeing firsthand how much progress he's made as a quarterback has been fun to watch, and all of the time and hard work Dixon has put in is finally paying off as Marietta College (OH) extended him his first offer earlier this week. Ability-wise, I believe Dixon has the arm talent to play at the D2 level with the improvement he's shown while still steadily progressing.

2026 Hampshire QB [player_tooltip player_id='1227642' first='Landon' last='Eversole'] is another quarterback who we've gotten to see a ton this year at multiple camps and is a consistent performer each time. You always know what you're going to get with Eversole at these camps, a gritty hard working competitior. That's going to translate to future college opportunities in some capacity for him if he keeps proving as much in front of college coaches this summer. Eversole would be a great addition to a college program with the values he can provide on and off the field.

A young 2029 quarterback to keep tabs on for the future is [player_tooltip player_id='1591192' first='Bentley' last='McCroskey']. The future Princeton Tiger appears to have a bright future at the position, showcasing some early intangibles at the Concord Prospect Camp on Friday. McCroskey is expectedly raw as a passer, having yet to begin his freshman year of high school, but you could see the potential in the other areas of his game in person. He has a quality athletic frame and foundation to build on moving forward, showing quick feet during drills and solid footwork for his age. Once he irons out his upper body mechanics, McCroskey will have the potential to step in as the next standout Princeton quarterback.

This was the first time getting to see 2026 Shady Spring QB [player_tooltip player_id='1691069' first='Cal' last='Culicerto'] perform, and there's some raw ability and physical tools to work with in his game. He's a towering athlete in the 6'4 range and the frame to easily add 30+ pounds in the future. Culicerto is very raw mechanically but you can iron those out as he just got his first taste of varsity ball last season. You can see his upside and potential in person once those fundamentals are ironed out and would transform Culicerto into a completely different quarterback.

A small school 2026 QB/ATH to know from Southern WV is Mount View's [player_tooltip player_id='1691068' first='Jackson' last='Rose']. He's a prospect that D3 colleges should be looking at and is an athlete who can provide value at that level. Rose also has some ATH potential as someone who could slide out to slot receiver or safety as well at the next level, something he got experience with last season. As a quarterback at the Concord Prospect Camp, Rose flashed some good throws at times and just needs to work on his timing and ball placement to become more consistent as a passer. He has the touch to continue making progress in those areas if he wants to play quarterback in college.
