Camping Season: ENMU In Albuquerque

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>ALBUQUERQUE</strong> – Eastern New Mexico came to the Duke City Wednesday night for their annual summer camp at La Cueva High School.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Speed came with them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some of the fastest players in the Albuquerque Metro Region showed up for the three hour camp, which featured testing, position specific drills and 1-on-1 competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The fleet-footed included 2027 Eldorado WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1155116' first='Jahari' last='Morehead']</strong> (camp fastest 4.42 in the 40), 2027 St. Pius X WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1154956' first='Cayl' last='Cox-Liggins']</strong> (4.47), 2027 St. Pius X DB/WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1155012' first='Curtis' last='Flakes III']</strong> (4.48) and 2026 Rio Rancho <strong>WR [player_tooltip player_id='1266408' first='Parker' last='Miller']</strong> (4.49), all of whom blazed sub-4.5 seconds in the 40.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shortly after the camp, ENMU offered both <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1154956' first='Cayl' last='Cox-Liggins']</strong> and <strong>Curtis Flakes</strong> III. Between those two plus RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1154954' first='Hershul' last='Olloway']</strong> (offered by UTEP and New Mexico), St. Pius X will have some SERIOUS speed at the offensive skill positions in 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greyhounds also offered 6-foot-2, 275-pound 2026 Cleveland Ol <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1671762' first='Damion' last='Lopez']</strong>, 6-foot-4, 305-pound 2026 Alamogordo OL/DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1268759' first='Diego' last='Ortega']</strong> and 2026 Cleveland DB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='854200' first='Collin' last='Joyner']</strong>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Quarterbacks that impressed included <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1600835' first='Nathanael' last='Best']</strong> of Alamogordo and <strong>Kaden Reese</strong> of Los Lunas. Both ran the 40 in under 4.7 seconds, so they'll bring plenty of speed to their respective teams' offenses. 2027 Cleveland OL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1637643' first='Wyatt' last='Lohr'] </strong>was also impressive.
