Prep Redzone Exposure Series: Who’s Coming?

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Registration for the Prep Redzone Exposure Series camp at Rio Rancho High School on May 3 from Noon-3 p.m. is underway. Numerous players have already signed up to compete at the camp. Here are some of those players:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1362443' first='Izaiah' last='Casaus'], Atrisco Heritage (2028)</strong>: His time to lead the Atrisco Heritage offense has arrived as both quarterbacks ahead of him on last season's depth chart were seniors. Casaus gained valuable experience by throwing 74 passes against varsity defenses. Threw the ball well at the Prep Redzone Showcase in Grants in December. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1680049' first='Jaden' last='Gonzales'], Organ Mountain (2027)</strong>: A rising senior, Gonzales emerged last season as a top-notch dual threat QB for the Knights, who recently underwent a head coaching change. Threw for over 1,200 yards and 13 TD while rushing for close to 700 yards. Very dangerous with the ball in his hands. Impressive performance at the College Prospect ID camp in February. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1155132' first='Aiden' last='Maldonado'], Sandia</strong> <strong>(2027)</strong>: Two-way standout for the Matadors, particularly on defense. Utilizing his excellent speed, he shined at linebacker last season with 50+ tackles and 13.0+ TFL. First stepped on the field for the varsity when he was a freshman. Career 25.0 TFL. His experience will boost Sandia's defense in 2026. Attracting next level interest, including Colorado School of Mines.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2114601' first='Gabriel' last='Muhammad'], Navajo Prep (2029)</strong>: A rising sophomore, Muhammad contributed to the Braves as a freshman on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he tied for the team high in tackles with 53, 4.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks. Developing into a nice defensive playmaker for Navajo Prep.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1667558' first='Nate' last='Vazquez'], Goddard (2028)</strong>: Emerged last season as a talented young dual threat QB for the improved Rockets. Vazquez threw for nearly 1,500 yards and 17 TD while completing 60.1 percent of his passes. Also rushed for over 250 yards and 6 TD. Goddard is headed in the right direction. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1826278' first='Roberto' last='Walker'], Albuquerque Academy</strong> <strong>(2028)</strong>: A rising junior, The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Walker brings excellent size to the OL position for Albuquerque Academy. Earned Second Team All-District honors. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1708067' first='Jay' last='Watts'], Legacy Academy (2028)</strong>: Watts is an explosive DE/Edge for the Silverbacks. Key role in Legacy's 10-win season with 61 tackles, 8.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks and 9 QB hurries.
