Broadneck 7v7 Tournament: Standout Performers

He has great size/build at 6'4", muscled up 220lbs, and nice length and lower half. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Playing both TE &amp; OLB, Will makes impact plays on both sides of the ball. As a TE, he can be inline or flex out as a big slot. He works up the seam well and uses his size to his advantage making him a good redzone option as well. A more than capable blocker as well from TE spot, he plays with good leverage and drive. At OLB, Will can play coming off the edge or off ball. Athletic enough to play in space/coverage and strong enough to take on blockers and hold the edge. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">How Will doesn't have any offers yet this spring/summer is a shock to me. With his size and athleticism is he clearly worthy of an FCS spot. A high academic prospect too, Will carries a 4.4 WGPA so I would think high academics would be reaching out to recruit him as well. With nice size at 6'4", a long frame, and a well slapped together frame, he looks the part of a big X receiver. At the 7v7 I was impressed with what I saw from his route running ability, especially as a bigger WR. He can push the vert, stop his momentum and then drop his weight and make crisp strong cuts creating excellent separation from the DB. JP also displayed natural strong hands, catching it away from his body, securing it and keeping the defender from having a chance to break up the pass. He can go up and high point it as well and is a strong red-zone option. A willing blocker from the receiver spot as well, there is a chance I could even see JP growing into a Flex TE down the line. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I know D3 Academic schools are all over him currently, as JP carries a 3.8 GPA, but he should be getting more than that in my mind. He is a explosive &amp; dynamic player with good twitch, burst and wiggle. A do it all player who makes impact on both sides of the ball. He can do it running the ball, as a receiver, in the jet sweep game or as a ball hawking FS on defense. As a receiver Jadereon show impressive ball skills, he tracks it well with good body control &amp; plays bigger than his size. He also has legit real speed and he recently ran 10.7 100M in track this spring. I like him best as a slot WR at the next level who can use his speed and juice on the field to make big time plays. He looks the part out on the field, a muscled up dude who is fluid and twitchy. Brey'Ent plays fast and physical, flies to the ball and will lay the wood. He showed fluid hips and good mobility, is an effective blitzer and gets to ball quickly. Overall Brey'Ent is a straight up football player who shows up under the lights. A strong academic prospect as well with a 3.8 GPA, Brey'Ent should be getting looks from FCS/D3 academic schools as well as being a no brainer D2 money kid. With good size at 6'2"+ and long frame, Quinn fits the mold of a X receiver. He is a strong route runner, make crisp cuts, explodes out of breaks, and runs with a smooth stride. A good leaper as well, Quinn can go up &amp; get it and attacks the ball in the air. One of his best traits is his reliable hands. He routinely displays natural hands, catching the ball away from his body and able to make the tough catch. At 6'2" 180lbs. with a length and a frame that will fill out to 200+ easily in time, he looks the part. Fluid in his movements, can flip his hips and a rangy player who can cover lots of ground quickly. Rondell flashes good ball skills, and uses his length well to make plays. A physical player as well, he will run the alley, come up and make a strong tackle. With his size and traits Rondell offers a lot of positional versatility and could get him growing into an athletic off ball LB/Rover type in time.
