Baylin Trujillo Impacts QBs Nationally

Based in the central Florida area, Trujillo has expanded his reach to several areas of Florida as well as many places around the country. While some attend his weekly workouts – others take part in his events, competing against some of the best this country has to offer.

At the center of this workout is Baylin Trujillo. Over the past five years, there are few quarterback coaches who have made the impact that this one-time University of South Florida and Webber International University has, parlaying his knowledge and hard work into a reputation that is becoming nationally known.

With so many quarterback coaches doing their thing in Florida and throughout the nation, Trujillo has been able to elevate prospects while having the ear of colleges and universities around the country.

On this weekend, he was in the area to attend the University of Miami “Legends” event and support his top prospect, Dereon Coleman Dereon Coleman 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Orlando Jones | 2026 State FL , who is a Class of 2026 standout that committed to the Hurricanes for the next cycle of talent.

While at Holiday Park, Trujillo had an opportunity to work with some quality talent, which included Preston Wright (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna standout, who will attend Wingate University) and Brand Campbell (Palm Beach Gardens, who is currently at Wabash College).

Also on hand were Christian Askew (Bradenton IMG Academy 7th grader), Altamonte Springs Lake Brantley freshman Grace Nguyen, who started for Orlando Bishop Moore High’s flag football team as a freshman), and gifted fifth grader Mason Wright.

The session also attracted Class of 2026 players Cohan Ross Cohan Ross 6'4" | 170 lbs | QB Transfer Portal Summer 25 TBD | 2026 FL (Boca Raton Spanish River) and Chris Siska (Boynton Beach), and state-rated Class of 2027 standout Zac Katz Zac Katz 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Miami True North Classical Academy | 2027 State FL (Miami True North Classical Academy).

Katz was recently rated as a top 60 player in the state and has been pursued by several schools as he will travel to colleges this June.

BUILDING A SOLID REPUTATION

Trujillo’s success has not come overnight. He had earned his stripes as a coach – helping to develop numerous prospects that have been noticed nationally including Texas A&M freshman signee Brady Hart from 2A state champion Cocoa.
