We put a wrap on our standouts from session 1 at the first UND Flagship Camp with my Midwest offensive line standouts we learned about in Grand Forks thru plenty of live evals we got a couple Thursdays ago already. This list accrues nearly 14 prospects that we put a stamp on with their live evals, and college coaches should like the mix we have here, as there is plenty of Saturday talent to know about in all Division ranks in our eyes.

Odin Bergland, Deer Lake, MN 2026

The nearly 6'3 250 pounder was a new name to my Minnesota 2026 radar as one that caught my early attention. What I saw during the live eval from Odin, was a prospect that had smoother footwork than I had expected as a under the radar offensive line target from Lakes Country that boosted also a 76 inch wingspan as well. Odin is a offensive linemen I wish I could have watched more reps on in Grand Forks, as one that intrigued me with his upside yet doesn't have any present junior tape to identify other skillsets this young man offers. Hopefully we can see this young man at more camps in July for sure.

William Durbin, Battle Lake, MN 2027 Twitter

William was a 2027 Outstate offensive linemen I had pre-circled to watch for at the first UND Flagship Camp, as he showed off some promising skillets heading into his junior year at Battle Lake. The 6'1 270 pounder, showed off more hip flexibility than my last live eval I got on him at early this summer which was a good sign of growth I saw in my newest live eval I got from him. He is an effective two-way starter in the trenches, that surely has position flexibility on either side of the ball in my eyes, however as an offensive guard I could tell William has grown more quick barrelling strength at his disposal during the live eval in Grand Forks, which could trend his way on the offensive side of the trenches. Another one out of Lakes Country college coaches should get to know, as one that looks like a Saturday's target.

[player_tooltip player_id='1564023' first='Sam' last='Dulas'], Owatonna, MN 2027 Twitter

Heading south to Owatonna, this was the first live eval I got on Owatonna 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1564023' first='Sam' last='Dulas'] this summer in Grand Forks. Talk about an eye catching wingspan, as Sam stretched out to 79.5 inches (6'7.5) with his wingspan which is one of the longest ones we saw at the UND Flagship Camp. Sam showed off an as effective angle blocker that possessed the drive I wanted to see finishing his blocks and I could gauge there is more finish left in the tank for this young man, Another effective skillset I saw out of Sam, was how well-versed he was with his hand-fitting, as even when he had to adjust his hand position, he was able to restore balanced leverage which set him up well in pass-pro from what I could see. Sam was also one you could point at the quick upwards learning curve he has at his disposal, as the nearly 6'3 280 pounder had himself a nice showing at the UND Flagship Camp and to me looks like a 2027 scholarship talent on Saturdays.

Carter Michlitsch, Bismarck St. Mary's Central, ND 2026 Twitter

One of the first North Dakota offensive linement that caught our attention in Grand Forks, is one that I was fired up to get a live eval on which is Carter Michlitsch of Bismarck St. Mary's Central. The 6'1 260 pound has surely gotten in the weight room since the season ended, playing nearly 15-20 pounds bigger than the tape showed off from his junior season. It was apparent watching Carter's first step, that the power I mentioned has grown with this young man since I last watched his tape, as the hip flexibility had more fire than I was expecting to see in the live eval. Carter also showed off the quick hands I was looking to see in the live eval in Grand Forks, as a 2026 that surprisingly doesn't have his first offer as of yet which surprises me as he looks like a good NSIC fit in my eyes.

Mason Roske, Foley, MN 2026

The verified 6'5 350 pounder from Foley has made a couple apperances that our PRZ scouts have seen at recent camps, but this was my first time getting a live eval on this young man at the UND Flagship Camp. For that size, I came away intrigued with the testing numbers that Mason put up as he possesses a more athletic frame than you might expect with his size. The Foley Falcon was a monster in the pass-pro reps I was able to watch, and brought a man versus boys feel to his reps against much smaller framed defensive linemen. I think the position flexibility for Mason aligns best as a nose tackle at the next-level but certainly this young man has shown off that he has the potention to play on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1648453' first='Wyatt' last='Henderson'], South St. Paul, MN 2027 Twitter

Wyatt was one of only a few 2027s that I had pre-circled before the UND Flagship Camp as a Minnesota prospect I had to watch, and he certainly lived up to the hype during the live eval I got in Grand Forks. Wyatt showed off some of the best hand placement I saw amongst the 2027 offensive line group and the quick leverage he could drive quickly set up even better while watching his footwork, as he had one of the quicker first step with his 2027 class as well. When PRZ gets double the eyes on you at a Division I prospect camp, it's usually a great sign which is the case with Wyatt as he looks like a camp stockriser in the Minnesota 2027 class.

Nickolas Jay, Dakota Ridge, CO 2026 Twitter

Nickolas gets a double-take from our PRZ scouts in attendance at the UND Flagship Camp, as the 2026 offensive linemen out of Dakota Ridge (CO) was a prospect that caught some solid attention with an offer out the NSIC after camp ended in Grand Forks a couple Thursday mornings ago. This young man had in my eyes one of the most explosive lower bodies when it came to his first step out of the entire offensive line group that I watched and that flexibility was consistent from testing all the way into 1v1s. Nickolas showed off quick power generation that still brought well-versed balance in his footwork during the pass-pro reps I watched and I couldn't stop watching the physicality in this young man's hands rep after rep as he showed off excellent pad-level which had a slough of NSIC coaches attention. Surely a Colorado offensive linement that should pick up even more steam upcoming on the recruiting trail in the RMAC and NSIC based on his live eval.

Chase Schams, La Crosse Aquinas, WI 2027 Twitter

If I dished out a 2027 OL MVP from the first UND Flagship Camp, my vote surely would have gone to La Crosse Aquinas offensive linemen Chase Schams, which would I am sure be agreeable with our PRZ scouts in attendance too. There wasn't many defensive tackles that could win any reps against Chase in the continous 1v1 reps I watched in Grand Forks, as [player_tooltip player_id='1292679' first='Oliver' last='West'] stated he was "immovable". He possessed the grueling strength at the point of attack and was just super balanced across most of his skillsets across the board from top to bottom. He also showed off with his footwork, great fluidity with his fiery first step as Chase also had on-point pad-level that I saw could drive consistently with his leverage into the second level. Aquinas has brought some dudes out to Midwest camps this summer, and Chase is another one we can add to the mix from his performance at the 6/12 UND Flagship Camp.

Bryce Bangasser, Brandon Valley, SD 2026 Twitter

If you are looking for one of the biggest work-horses that is still uncommitted in our South Dakota 2026 class, you might want to hear about the live eval Bryce Bangasser had at the UND Flagship Camp. I've said it before, I love the development this young man has made since he first got on our radar as a sophomore at our PRZ Dakotas Showcase, as Bryce continued to show off the pummelling strength he has at the point of attack in Grand Forks. On one particular 1v1 rep I saw from Bryce, he showed off how much he has improved with his foot speed taking the defensive linemen's inside move and driving him off-balance so fast it wasn't even funny as that is a sure area where Bryce has grown from his junior season for sure. He is one 605 Hog that I feel is under-recruited in this class but yet is starting to pick up some steam in the NAIA and D2 levels, but looks like an ideal fit in the NSIC.

Peyton Seil, Bismarck Century, ND 2027 Twitter

There has not been a more active camp competitor at Midwest camps in this North Dakota 2027 class in my eyes, than Peyton Seil of Bismarck Century, who had himself another nice outing at the first UND Flagship Camp. Peyton has gotten smoother casting his wide base during the live reps I watched in Grand Forks, and the hand speed has certainly developed with the more and more reps I have watched from him over the last couple of prospect camps throughout the Midwest. Another area of improvement I have seen from Peyton is with his hand placement as he has engaged quicker when he needs to reset his hands with ample time especially during pass-pro reps I watched at the UND Flagship Camp. If I was recruiting 2027s this cycle, Peyton would certainly be an early offer on my D1 board for sure.

Christopher Bridges, Duluth Denfield, MN 2026 Twitter

Christopher might be a name you all remember from another Missouri Valley Conference prospect camp we were in attendance at, as he was one of my first offensive line standouts from the 6/9 SDSU prospect camp earlier in the week and he certainly continued to show off the juice in Grand Forks with the reps we got to watch at UND. The increased fluidity with his footwork continues to catch my attention first hand with Christopher and even more than that stood out in my eyes during the live eval period at the first UND Flagship Camp of the summer. He showed off some of the most physical and progressive hand placement during the 1v1 reps I watched especially in pass-pro, as that is an area that I have seen the summer growth at the bulk of camps that Christopher has been in attendance at. The college coaches are seeing what we are seeing too as he has picked up three offers since the UND Flagship Camp ended a couple Thursdays ago.

"It's about time," is a quote from one of our Midwest scouts after we told him about the outing at the UND Flagship Camp that Appleton East's Todd Marx had, as he certainly started a wave of scholarship attention in Grand Forks from his live eval he showed off. Todd picked up multiple NSIC offers after camp, and it was due to his mauling presence that showed plenty of pure balance with his footwork that appeared unphased by any inside move that defensive linemen threw his way during 1v1s, as Todd showed off smooth hands that was very adequate to any adjustments that the defensive linemen tried to make, as he came off to our PRZ scouts as a brick wall that was a pain in the rear (in a good way of course) to get off his base. Todd was one of the best 2026s I saw in pass-pro reps, and I won't say I would be surprised if more scholarship offers come his way by the end of the summer, as he showed off some imposing reps in 1v1s and made that two-state away drive well-worth it.

Labeled as the "Alpha" of Midwest Scouting Director, [player_tooltip player_id='1292679' first='Oliver' last='West']'s top performers of the UND Flagship Camp in Grand Forks there was no doubt Evan had just about every college staffs attention during 1v1 reps in the first session of camp. Talk about a offensive linemen that could was a finisher on every rep I watched, that certainly wasn't all he could do well either. Evan was another interior offensive linemen that was unphased by bursty pass-rushers that came his way, as this young man took a huge amount of reps and showed off excellent overall balance with his quick hands, adaptable pad-level, and was one that was darn near perfect in wins on 1v1 reps in Grand Forks. He was a stockriser in Spring and surely we can agree that his showing at the UND Flagship Camp will make him rise again up our 2026 Minnesota board, which is absolutely stocked with talent as Evan has ALREADY picked up seven more offers since the 6/12 UND Flagship Camp.
