I really like his awareness as he does a great job identifying and reacting to 2 or 3 vertical when in cover 3 or 1-high to immediately identify it and take away that window. Sideline to sideline range with a large catch/pbu radius and does a great job reading the QB's eyes to bait QB's into throws. Instinctual player that often is touted with man coverage on the slot and frequently gets a great pass/run read to react accordingly. Really good break on the ball on those quick out routes as he shows a nice turn and burst to undercut throws. He does a great job reading the QB's eyes and shows solid route recognition while flashing a nice burst on the ball. He plays loose, fast, and physical with a big striking ability and sideline to sideline range, as he's really developing into a very well polished safety. He shows the athleticism to play that "centerfield" position well to patrol the field, but also has the zone awareness combined with that route/concept recognition. Good recovery speed to turn and run with receivers vertically and showcased a large catch radius with body control to go attack the ball from different angles. He comes off a head turning freshman season by picking off 7 passes and truly played and looked much more mature than his current grade/age. Really good instincts and play speed to read and react to plays in a split second, and holds good ball skills all around with very good route recognition and positional IQ, making him a legit ball hawk to get on your radar. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
