<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1562024' first='Michael' last='Ballan'] 5'10" 175 WR Ramapo</td><td>Uses hands to beat press coverage; can adjust to bad throws, makes falling grabs; used over the middle a lot; really works hard when blocking on the perimeter; corner who keeps his leverage when tackling; fights to wrangle the ball on defense and come up with 5050 balls; a little shiftier than you would think; show toe tap and fall out of bounds; have not seen him set up blockers or evade players in the open fiend; will use an aggressive defenders leverage against him; turns backwards, can make awkward falling catches; comes back to the ball when in tight spaces/shows field awareness; mostly uses hands; needs to put the ball away; nice player, very well coached</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1453909' first='Michael' last='MacLennan'] 5'10" 215 LB Neptune</td><td>Can wrap better when tackling; goes low when tackling; times snap count well; reads reach well - speed is an unknown because he looks to make the play underneath rather than over the top on gets to his drop, tip toes a bit - head needs to be on a swivel, does not fight under blocks appropriately in short game;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1552378' first='Michael' last='Moro'] 6'0" 195 LB Passaic County Tech</td><td>Barrels through running backs in protection, too exposive for them; not sure if he has a burst, but gets to his spots full speed and causes big collisions because of it; can get beat to the sideline by a running back, will play cutback; does not use hands to take on blockers, uses shoulder and tries to out muscle them; leverage tackling can improve; seems to read keys sufficiently; did not see clips of him in coverage</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1615857' first='Michael' last='Murphy'] LB Middletown South</td><td>Stout player, well built; will slow play reach a bit when on the backside to be patient for cutback; ok tackler, can be a bit lower more consistently; did not see any pass coverage clips</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1529469' first='Michael' last='Napolitano'] 5'10" 170 RB Hasbrouck Heights</td><td>Wildcat; will wait for blockers to get to the point of attack, push them along if they are going too slow; arm is in correct hand; used as a receiver at times, uses body to secure the catch; keeps ball at his side; tendecy to get to the outsidea bit early; able to run up the middle; has not show many open field moves, just runs away from people; unsure of caliber of opponents; picks his feet up to avoid getting tripped</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='205678' first='Michael' last='Wellet, III'] 5'11" 215 LB/TE St. Joseph's Metuchen</td><td>Does not need a 13 minute highlight film; played for seton Hall last year; wish to see him get to his drop a bit more urgency; sort of runs without moving his arms at times; attacks quarterbacks hand as he pressures; does not lock out on defender when at line; seems to get a lot of running starts on play call, not much for reading keys and going</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1547063' first='Mike' last='Fitzsimons'] 6'0" 165 QB Wayne Hills</td><td>Throws look effortless with a clean pocket; really looks decisive in his throws; his best throws are absolute gems in terms of ball placement vs. where a defender can make a play on the ball; gets the ball out soon, does not hold and wait; moves to buy time; sprays the ball all over the field well; longest thrown on film was about 40 yards; does not look like he makes many risky throws; only scrambles for yardage when he needs to; steps up in pocket well; really looks like a cool cat back there; really showcases excellent command</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1538276' first='Mike' last='Petses'] 5'10" 185 LB New Providence</td><td>Can high point the ball, will muscle through contact to come down with it; can accelerate to the sideline well, mostly cannot get beat; fills holes effetively; key reading is adequate, want to see a more clear diagnose step in order for him to make plays in the hole more easily; gets to his spots; rallies to the ball well and seems to keep his tackling leverae</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1246342' first='Miles' last='Muldrow'] 6'5" 245 OL Franklin</td><td>End, plays high but matches the hand; offensive tackle with a vertical kickset step, and confidence/ability to set an outside rusher; long arms and strength to bump someone off of him when on defense; must come to balance in screen game in the open field; want to see him hand fight, has gotten snatched down by good technique but won because of size and strength; have not seen him in a 3 point stance, powerful and gets opponents moving; highlights were all against subpar opposition; plays high, needs better pad level; missteps at times, but feet are quick enough to reset</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1515056' first='Minjoon' last='Kang'] 5'10" 175 DL Summit</td><td>End with a very low slant, quick to penetrate adjacent gap and get across face; pretty good get off, good pursuit angles, hustles to the play; want to see his stance shorten a bit to get more power; fights pressure by spinning back to gap when he is getting down blocked; can get bumped and moved off the ball when scooped; decent at fighting reach; likely best as a quick penetrator; breaks down with appropriate depth in the backfield; asked to play in space in an okie look, sent however; good backside bender; very good technical piece, has good traits that can be ascentuated on the field of play</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1552342' first='Nate' last='Engdahl'] 6'1" 215 DL Ridge</td><td>Fights reach by attacking opponents hands, getting free, and disrupting; steps down with down blocks, gets hands on, and makes plays; holds the point of attack very well; want to see him rip to break free from cut off blocks; tackling is solid; takes good angles/good eyes when unblocked getting into the backfield; uses his hands and he is able to feel his matchup and play off of that; moves feet well enough to not get displaced, yet doesnt displace many others</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='284070' first='Nathan' last='Fitch'] 6'0" 170 DB Union City</td><td>Single hi safety, about 20 yards back; late to break; puts his full body into people; played orner; will fight to regain force leverage; sticks people when tackling; can run well backwards; looks like a 2nd platoon player based on the film he put forth (blowouts and day time games); have not seen him cover much</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530260' first='Nicholas' last='Schicchi'] 5'10" 150 WR Freehold Township</td><td>Good acceleration, can beat a safety and a corner on a post; need to see more fakes when breaking stem of route; pretty quick and accelerates well; manages to come up with the ball in very tight windows; mostly uses his hands to receive the ball; does not sink hips very well; like him on deep routes; have not seen him create for himself in the open field; looks like his game is reliant on speed, accleration, and goo dhands</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530298' first='Nick' last='Parkinson'] 5'10" 170 ATH Butler</td><td>Safety; stays in backpedal and will break on the ball when things are clear in front of him; receiver, rounds his routes and does not sink, does not when he makes cuts either; will use a hard stutter fake; uses hands to cach the ball; backpedals well, then gets hips around to run; takes chances as a safety by undercutting the ball; hustles and pursues plays from backside to save scores; gets creative when trying to get open; want to see more of him on defense but can probably play either way right now</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476925' first='Noah' last='Foxworth'] 5'9" 185 RB Shabazz</td><td>Good gap anticipation on stretch plays; hard runner up the middle; has some shake and bake to him, granted against inferior opponents; must switch ball hands when he cuts back; lowers shoulder through contact; gets tripped up by contact, must pick feet up more; will brace ball when he lowers shoulder, otherwise it moves; disciplined runner in hitting his track; solid player, will never hurt you</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1540513' first='Noah' last='Glenn'] 6'0" 210 DL Bishop Eustace</td><td>Does not need an 8 minute highlight film; standup edge player; alooks like he has long arms; pursues things casually from the backside until he has to turn it on; sort of fights and holds the point without much technique; fights the reach effectively, does not really get up and into someone; can hit/wrap/drive at moments</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1349497' first='Nolan' last='Frake'] 6'2" 230 DL Point Pleasant Boro</td><td>End; good get off, must spill with outside shoulder; great hustle, pursues plays down field and looks to make them; offensive tacke; pops up, not out, focing his base to get narrow and run his feet rather htan drive them; feet must move better in pass protection, speed rushers he manages to keep a finger on them and fight, but looks like he could get the corner turned; never gives up on a play on defense; must bend backside flatter; gets hands on people, but does not grab cloth/control; keeps coming/running at you on offense, their wing T attack makes things clogged a bit</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1514622' first='Nyzier' last='Matthews'] 6'2" 165 WR Brick Memorial</td><td>Has to slow down to receive the ball more often than you would like; has shown the ability to high point the ball; can create for himself 1on1 in the open field; returns back tot he ball in now game very nicely; looks a bit difficult to wrangle in the open field when left alone; seems to always make the first man miss; very good at going up for it and using his hands; strong to shrug/hump a defender and stiff arm to the ground; routes a sharp, but could create more separation with fakes</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1552350' first='Octavion' last='Spence'] 5'10" 220 DL Millville</td><td>Good at rushing the outside shoulder and beating his matchup to the spot; shown a rip to get off the edge; steps and squeezes when unblocked; needs to bend a little better, but pursues backside well; utilzes the rip when going inside; need to see him get his hips around more when he is tied up; will run around an outblock, spin the wheel, and circle to try to make the play</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1524379' first='Owen' last='Robson'] 6'0" 150 QB Middletown North</td><td>Does not need a 12 minute highlight tape; quick release, throws a 40 yard skinny post as a dart; his receivers tend to get behind a lot of defenses for whatever reason - makes it easy for him to lay it allt he way out there for them; will take a hit in order to deliver the throw; solid ball placement over the middle to protect his receivers from danger; feel as though he is throwing to a lot of open people - either his skills create or good play calling, have not seen him create much himself; throws seem to suffer on wet, grass field - not as much command to his throws</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
