2028 WR and Athlete New Additions

<p>We're continuing our coverage of the 2028 class as we look at the new players we added to the rankings. Among 83 total rising sophomores, we only added a few receivers. So, we're including the new athletes with them in this new additions piece.</p>   <p>Which wide receivers and athletes are new to the rankings? Find out in our 2028 WR new additions.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2028 WR New Additions</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">After a modest on-field output as a freshman at Southwest Guilford, Grimes transferred to West Forsyth and his excellent spring is the reason for his inclusion as a new receiver. Not only did he make our rankings, he flew up near the top. He has size, speed, and route-running ability, something he's displayed at both college and exposure camps. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Echols is another two-sport athlete with upside in both. Personally, I hope he sticks on the football field as he excels at using his size to his advantage and he's nearly impossible to stop with the ball in the air. His freshman highlight tape is excellent and tells the story of an elite athlete with height, strength, and speed to beat almost anyone.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Dulin's name was completely unknown to us when I came across his film while watching some of his teammates. Whether watching his quarterback or his fellow receivers, Dulin stood out as a guy who was seemingly always open. The stats back that up. The numbers we do have show him racking up just under 200 yards in four games, with some massive gains giving him over 16 yards per catch.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2028 Athlete New Additions</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Well loved by our friends at Prep Hoops, Gray is a twitchy two-sport athlete with WR1 upside. He was excellent during a challenging season for Northside Jacksonville last season, racking up over 500 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns as a freshman. He also played some quarterback and completed 40 passes for another 360 yards. He's a true athlete with plenty of college upside.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">A recent re-class to the 2028 class, Curry put up unreal numbers at East Gaston, picking off 10 passes and catching 13 touchdowns as a receiver. He's an explosive athlete with elite ball skills and every time the ball is in the air, he's a threat to catch it, no matter where he's playing on offense or defense. Now at Country Day, another big year could open the recruiting floodgates.</p>
