Just a sophomore, Gray played quarterback for Northside-Jacksonville, throwing for nearly 2,000 yards and adding another 250 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. Prior to this season, Northside-Jacksonville was 6-45 since 2020. Gray led the Monarchs to an 8-2 record and a playoff 3-seed and first-round bye. Simply unbelievable work from the sophomore and his team.

Well loved by our friends at Prep Hoops, Gray is a twitchy two-sport athlete with WR1 upside. He was excellent during a challenging season for Northside Jacksonville last season, racking up over 500 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns as a freshman. He also played some quarterback and completed 40 passes for another 360 yards. He’s a true athlete with plenty of college upside.
