2028 QB New Additions

Because of their age and the state of the 2028 class, not every player has full varsity film. He ran a 4.63 40 at 6-foot-5, showing his athletic upside. Interestingly, he participated as a wide receiver instead of quarterback, the latter of which he plays at Lincoln Charter. He's inexperienced and that showed at times last year, but Cox's upside is obvious. Bell's upside is obvious, as he's already 6'4" with great arm talent. I also love seeing guys get playing time at the JV level rather than simply sitting at the varsity level. He displayed accuracy and touch on his throws and wasn't rattled in high-pressure situations. I'll be interested to see how playing time shakes out as Northwest Cabarrus has some other talent at the quarterback position.
