2027 Rankings: Top Ranked Newcomers

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Take a look at the top ranked new additions to the 2027 PRZ state rankings.</h2>    Zion debuts in the rankings at #22 overall and is the second ranked DL prospect in the 2027 class. 6'5” 270 lbs. he possesses the size and athleticism to play any position on the DL. Quick explosive first step off the ball and has the length to maintain separation from blockers and then shed. Picked up his initial college offer from Arizona in January but has since taken off bringing in five additional offers in this spring from SMU, Purdue, Sacramento State, Kansas, and Hawaii.     Sorensen enters the rankings inside the top 25 overall and is the third ranked OL in the state. Holds many key traits major D1 colleges look for with combination of size, length, and athleticism. His frame is well balanced giving him great power, body control, and mobility to execute different blocks effectively. Strong at the POA, he plays with leverage and drives his feet through contact to be a violent finisher in both pass protection and as a run blocker. Pulled in five offers within a week in May from Texas Tech, Baylor, Colorado State, NAU, and Sacramento State.      Kennedy is the prototypical D1 OT at 6'6” 275 lbs. with plus athleticism and movement skills. He combines power and technique as both a run blocker and pass protector, with the agility to pull and reach the second level effectively. His short area quickness allows him to adjust on the move, while his heavy hands and strong initial contact generate powerful push in the run game. In pass protection, he flashes smooth footwork, balance, and the ability to mirror edge rushers, along with the recovery skills to handle counters. Debuts in the PRZ 2027 rankings at #32 overall and the #5 OL with offers from NAU, Idaho, and Arizona.     6'5” 255 lbs. Stewart has come on strong this offseason entering the updated rankings as the #6 offensive linemen and #33 overall. He's got an athletic frame with plus growth potential to add mass without sacrificing his mobility/athleticism. He shows natural foot quickness and body control, allowing him to match lateral movement in pass protection and work effectively in space as a run blocker. His mobility allows him to pull and climb to the second level while being able to adjust his angle on the fly to initiate contact. Plays with good pad level and leverage at his size and accelerates through contact to finish his blocks. Big spring contact period for him bringing in his first five D1 offers from Sacramento State, Idaho, New Mexico, NAU, and Arizona.      Adeyanju is PRZ's top ranked 2027 prospect without an offer. 6'0” 215 lb. RB has been flying under the radar despite his D1 talent and ability. Possesses a good mix of speed and power with the lateral agility to make quick/explosive cuts in the short area. Like his ability to either run through contact or make the first man miss at the LOS and then work to space. He flashes good vision and patience to allow his blocks to develop and then make smart cuts to get to the open field. Good burst to the second level and carries the top end speed to extend gains and finish in the end zone. He's a high upside prospect that could pop at any time.      Haynie makes his debut in the PRZ 2027 rankings as the #43 overall prospect and the #5 defensive linemen. He's a versatile and athletic prospect at DE/TE with an impressive frame at 6'4” 225 lbs. He shows excellent length and room to add mass while maintaining his explosive first step and lateral agility. His combination of size and athleticism makes him a disruptive presence both as a run defender and edge rusher. He demonstrates good bend and closing speed off the edge, with a diverse set of pass rush moves to get off blockers. Consistently able to maintain separation and then shed blocks while playing with a relentless motor in pursuit to chase down field and from the backside. His skillset also translates well to the offensive side offering two-way value as a TE. Earned his first offer from NAU, and his upside continues to grow.      Gory is a dynamic playmaker for Salpointe Catholic out of the slot and at returner. Explosive with the ball in his hands he flashes high level burst, top end speed, and short area quickness. He excels in space, creating consistent and easy separation with sharp route running, sudden change of direction, and an advanced feel for leverage. Can attack all three levels of the field with his acceleration off the line and out of his breaks at the short/intermediate levels combined with his top end speed to be a vertical threat. Natural ball skills, he's able to track and adjust to mid air ball flight while maintaining his speed to run after the catch. Shows a good ability to play the ball in traffic and in tight spaces. Recruitment has just begun pulling in four D1 offers this month from UTEP, Arizona, New Mexico state, and NAU.
