2026 Rankings: Highest Ranked Newcomers

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth evaluations of the highest ranked new additions to the 2026 PRZ state rankings. </h2>    Morgan's recruitment has skyrocketed this offseason pulling in 13 D1 offers before recently committing to Cal. He's a gifted athlete in both track and football running a 10.8 100M and jumping a 131” at the National Preps combine setting an event record. His game is explosive with the short area quickness and long speed to turn any short reception into a big gain. Advanced route runner that accelerates off the ball to close cushion and transitions smoothly in and out of his breaks. Creates separation with a combination of speed and technical ability setting up his routes with good stems and head fakes at the top to get defenders off balance. Natural ball skills, he's strong at the catch point and tracks the ball effortlessly into his hands. Great deep ball threat. Debuts in the rankings inside the top 50 overall.      Williams is a long, lean, and athletic defensive end that brings a dynamic skillset to the position. 6'5” 220 lbs. he's got a projectable frame built for growth and that will add weight as he develops without sacrificing the speed and athleticism that sets him apart. He displays impressive range, fluid movement, and the versatility to play in multiple fronts. His initial burst off the LOS allows him to consistently beat blockers off the edge and gain quick penetration as a run stopper and pass rusher. Excels in space, showing the agility and change of direction to redirect and chase sideline to sideline. Great recognition skills to diagnose the play and put himself in position to make a play on the ball, shows he can react to screens, drop back into coverage, and contain the edge. Athleticism and speed give him a wide variety of moves to beat blockers as a pass rusher. Holds 15 offers and enters the rankings inside the top 100 overall.      Cummings checks all the boxes of a major D1 LB with an exceptional skillset that blends his size, length, and athleticism. A pure football player, he plays downhill and is constantly attacking. 6'4” 220 lbs. his frame is ideal for today's hybrid LB position capable of playing in space, rushing the passer, and filling the run. Good natural movement skills and speed for his size, shows the range to chase from the backside and the lateral agility to track down ball carriers in the open field. Excels in pursuit, closing ground quickly with long strides and good top-end speed. Very efficient when shedding blocks with a good mix of speed and power moves. His length allows him to maintain separation and then disengage from contact. Aggressive tackler that accelerates his feet and drives through contact to finish ball carriers to the ground. Recruitment and exposure has skyrocketed this spring with eight of his nine offers coming in since April. Enters the rankings at #110 overall.      Hofland is a multi-dimensional TE with the versatility to line up across multiple formations and create mismatches all over the field. Whether flexed out as a slot receiver, lined up in-line, or as an H-Back he brings a dynamic skillset that challenges defense. 6'4” 220 lbs. he's got a strong frame with plus athleticism and natural hands. Smooth route running at his size with the agility and burst to separate at the top of routes and the body control to adjust to off-target throws. He attacks the ball in the air and shows a great ability to bring in the tough contested reception in traffic. His catch radius and ball tracking give him a wide route tree and the ability to work all areas of the field. As a blocker, he competes with toughness and shows the ability to block both in-line and on the move. He has the strength and technique to engage defenders and sustain throughout the play. Flashes good hand usage and is balanced through contact to control opponents and create movement. Currently holds eight D1 offers and is ranked #120 overall in the updated 2026 PRZ rankings.      Arbuckle has seen his recruiting stock on the rise this spring pulling in four Mountain West offers in to add to his two from FCS programs. 6'0” 170 lbs. he's an explosive two-way athlete with elite speed. He's one of the top sprinters in the state running a PR 100 meter in 10.55. That speed translates well to the football field in all three phases no matter where he is lined up. Electric with the ball in his hands his top end speed makes him a constant threat to flip the field or make a game breaking play. At WR, he's able to slip by coverage and stretch the defense vertically or break away from defenders with ease after the catch at the short/intermediate levels. On defense, he's got great range to limit separation and close space rapidly. He can erase angles and recover to play the ball from anywhere on the field. Committed to Boise State just last week and is ranked #121 overall in the updated 2026 PRZ rankings.      Sesay has been one of the fastest rising 2026 prospects in the central valley this offseason pulling in seven D1 offers. 6'2” 230 lbs. he's a violent tackler that explodes through contact to bring heavy thump on every play. Good size to his frame but he plays with good leverage and short area burst that allows him to overpower opponents at the POA. Strong key and play diagnosis ability to read and react to run or pass. He's patient with his movement to limit wasted steps as he locates the ball but fires out with speed when he triggers. He's got a great nose for the football using decisive reads and speed to fill open running lanes aggressively. High motor guy that plays with an edge and seeks contact to be a force from the interior box. Disengages from blockers with active hand usage and natural strength to lock out, preventing blockers from getting into his body. Plus game speed to not just be a between the tackles run filler, but can also drop back and work laterally down the LOS to pursue the ball. Despite his seven D1 offers he still has a lot of upside in both recruiting and development.
